Thanks guys, sounds good. Raekwon can you expand on the flex raid comment? Starting to google now but it always seems simpler coming from another player.
edit: found a good explanation

I have never been into raiding, I enjoy it but hate the time commitment, the BG's and arena skirms were always my favourite. However this system seems like it could draw me in.

Raids in WoD can have any number of players between 10 to 30, with mob/boss HP and damage scaling dynamically based on the size of your group. You can even change sizes mid-raid if somebody has to leave or if somebody logs in and wants to join while the run is in progress.
The only exception is Mythic mode (the hardest -- and most rewarding -- difficulty) which requires a group of exactly 20 players.

Not only that you can set loot to personal loot and instead of bosses dropping loot and handing it out everyone has a chance to get their own loot. Saves loot drama and avoids issues of people who come more than others. We tried it in Soo and found we get more loot this way so far.

Played WoW for so many years... I've been proud of myself for calling it over after playing the Panda expansion for a few weeks.
Not convinced to re-sub, but depends on what I see after it's release. I so miss the Vanilla days of 40-man MC/ BWL raids. Is there a guild set-up with CPers?

I resubbed for this expansion after taking Cata and Mop off. I will see how deep I get back into it.

Warlords is going to make the casual user be able to participate in Raids a lot easier by using the preform group finder. (Can also be used for old content)
With the changes that are going to be available via Real ID in Warlords you can raid the latest content in Normal/Heroic but not Mythic from different realms. Also with the changes the loot dynamically will adjust based on the number of players in the group.
If you not much a raider I don't know much about the PvP side of thing.

I haven't yet.
If it could run comfortably on my surface 3 I might just do it to have something to do when on the road sitting in the hotels.

It took me about an hour to regret the $14 I just spent.
I don't want the labour pains, I just want the baby. Leveling again is ass.

Should have come with a free 90 boost so don't have to for at least one character

It does - if you pre-purchase.

I was giving it a month to see if getting the expac is worth it for me. I don't think it is honestly.
I was really excited to re-up and then by level 5 on a monk, I was ready to play something new again.
I think as soon as I thought about raid times, I just got deflated. I just don't have the free time I had 5 years ago.

I think everyone gets a L90 boost. Pre-purchase just gets more addons ontop of that (mounts, cards and items for other Blizz games)

I re-subbed but this is my main concern. Raiding was what I loved in WoW. That was 3 kids ago though....

Just do LFR raids if you want to raid casually. If not, the new Looking for Group tool can easily help find other people to raid with.

Pre-purchase gets you nothing, everyone that buys WoD gets a level 90 boost included. You get the mount and such for buying the collectors edition.

So I cracked and bought the expac, plus 3 months of play time.
Anyone know when the free level 90 boost expires? Do I have to use it in a certain amount of time?

The site says you don't need to hurry and use it. I assume it has no time limit.
