It was, but Ms. Archer's voice is still driving me up the wall.

Still pretty funny.

I thought it was okay. I liked last week's episode better.

Ok now it sounds like Malory Archer got punched in the throat.

It's gotta be your tv...I haven't noticed a difference in voices at all.

Nah, there's something off about Jessica Walter's voice this season for sure.

Seems like a common thing brought up.

I didn't agree about Mallory's voice before, but in the last episode I saw, it definitely seemed weird. In the scene where she is trying to convince Lana to name the rename the baby after her, it just seemed off.

See! I watch on my computer with headphones so maybe that's why I can pick it out easier, if I watched on my TV with TV's crappy speakers and room acoustics it might be harder to hear.

I used to run a sound board for a band as well and had some training on listening to voices and instruments and equalizing and balancing things to compensate for a room or equipment, so I might just be super picky with this kind of stuff too.

If you play that video then play the part where Malory is talking to Lana it's super clear (I can't find a video of that online). It's almost like she's talking in her falsetto register instead of her modal register (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocal_register for anyone who's done vocal training).

Last episode is even more brilliant now after knowing Lana's childhood was taken directly from Aisha Tyler's

From "The Kaines" episode, where Archer meets Lana's parents.

My vote for best episode so far this season.
