Largely agree. The only place I would differ is on best statistical story, where I'd go with Tkachuk's point total.

I have the Flames targeting defence in the 2017 entry draft, and MA Fleury in goal for next year. Otherwise my list looks pretty much the same.

Picked a winger for the Flames in the Draft. Gillies as the goalie, but there should have been as a backup option.

And Elliott tying Vernon @11 wins in a row I picked over the team streak. Although both options couldn't happen without the other so it's a flawed multiple choice.

It's somewhat fun to do this every year, and it give some measure of closure.

For the draft I voted centreman even though we have some gems. You never know, and you ALWAYS need better/more!

Interesting Sigalet was added (easy vote I may add). Has the goaltending coach always been part of the stay or go poll? Not that I can remember.

Gillies gets my vote for a starting position next year in Calgary
Parsons As a starter in Stockton
Rittich as a backup
2 defenceman need to make a push to come up to Calgary
Keep Versteeg but short term not much more
Keep Stone
Bart can walk

No more PTO...for training camp just for the sake of competition as its never worked previously.

Let Siglelet (sp) walk
Cameron go away

Keep Burke and Treliving surprised by them

Gulutzan did okay keep him until he misses playoffs.

Gelinas needs to be on the bench instead of the booth....Conroy with the odd cameo to the bench for some golly gees fellas.

Ken King and his shtick needs to go....we need a building and a new voice for non hockey ops.....Murray Edwards and Co need to get to work on something serious.

Gillies and Rittich as our starting tandem next year? You're willing to risk the entire season on a pairing that wasn't even that impressive in the AHL this year? That's bold man. Cheap, but bold.

Am I reading this wrong, or did only 66% and 67% of respondents want to keep Sam Bennett and Matt Tkachuck?

If you go to the Herald, they have charts that make more sense.

67 percent say keep Tkachuk but there is another choice that says "give him a raise" which looks like about 30%, so approximately 97% want to keep him.

The Sun article is not very clear.

This poll phrasing is so dumb. Every year they do it and every year they refuse to improve it. Why would I give a guy who is out performing his contract a raise if he still has years left.

Drives me nuts.
