Do you know how good of deal you can get on a PT Cruiser. You can get them with 100k on them for 3 grand or less. You compare that with the Honda or Toyota that you pay 6k for.
You can get a good deal on them cause they're absolutely terrible cars to drive...

PT Cruisers are beyond horrible.
Let me re-frame your analogy. You can get a barely used Timex watch, for less than half the price of a used Tag Hauer.

Every time I see a Toyota tercel in front of me, I change lanes to avoid being caught behind the mighty power of their tercel-erration. Slowest vehicles on the road, or simply the most conservative drivers? Who cares, avoid them like the plague.

I do this with Chrysler minivans...I call them 'moving chicanes'. the good news is that they are so poorly built they don't last, so, the worst ones are mostly gone.

The Tercel hasn't been built in 14 years. Ignoring the "late-model" nature of the thread, I barely ever even see one these days. You can't really call a 2-decade old car slow...they were all slower back then.
It is hard to believe Italy produced this monstrosity.
Only the Italians, and possibly the French, would try something like this. I kind of like it for how outrageously monstrous ugly it is. I have a soft spot for cars that try to brake out of the norm...probably why I don't hate the Juke either.

Anyway, if I am allowed to go outside North America, I can checkmate this thread in one solid move. Behold, The Fiat Multipla:
Besides the obvious eye vomit, the frikkin front and rear door handles don't even line up. It is hard to believe Italy produced this monstrosity.
I instantly thought that it looked similar to "The Homer" so I went looking for an image and came across a real life build of the car. This thing is a real gem...
Agreed, although you could've just said Subaru to save yourself some typing. They've always been a little weird, but I remember they at least looked solid.
Now with their huge headlights and bulbous bodies, they are pretty hideous.
Also another company who used to know for their wagons replacing them with jacked-up versions.

Isn't stick now by request? Most cars come in auto now . . . ?
Not really in the ugly vein, I have a new Ford Focus Titanium (black pearl color), and I think it looks great with the trim package. And when it has its winters on, I keep thinking this is something you could find in Gran Turismo. Looks awesome.
