This is Dennis Schroeder bad.

Dennis Schroeder is a PG in the NBA.
He was offered a 4 year 80 million extension by the Lakers. He wanted 100 and went to free agency and has been singing a series of 1 year deals since.
I believe he signed his first 1 year deal with Boston for 3.5 million lol.

That’s is still a huge win.
1st 2 prospects and 2 more picks for a guy who looks like a 3rd liner right now and wanted 9.5 million from us.

He made 34.5 million since then, not exactly a catastrophe. Ozzie Albies gambled the other way.

That’s because Toronto gave him a 2 year deal. Still a 50 million difference.

Sure, and Atlanta controls Albies until 2027 for peanuts compared to what he's really worth.
You can bet and lose both ways. Lindholm chose the Schroeder route.

Before the trade there were rumors the Hawks were interested in Kuzmenko. Lowest scoring team in the league wants a goals scorer
Maybe revisit their interest in the summer

7.5 for a team like Columbus, 6.3 for a team he wants to go to like Boston.

This might be Glencross. Out of the league by next year.

I don’t think he’s out of the league.
It will be interesting to track his career going forward. His numbers are tracking like a player who would be in the AHL in a few years.
I think teams will be very careful with him. Winning faceoffs and being right handed isn’t enough to get a long term deal.
I think he is still a useful 3rd liner. Killing penalties.

I highly doubt Lindholm is out of the league that soon but he's looking like a shell of the player he once was. Might be forced to sign a one-year deal somewhere to rebuild his value.
Flames dodged a full-on shotgun slug not signing him.

That trade was epically good. From the trade to the rest of the season Kuzmenko = Lindholm.
So all the other pieces basically for nothin
Wonder how they would grade the Canucks on that trade now lol

Lindholm's been exposed as a true lazy bones player. So glad he didn't sign long term in Calgary. He had a good stint with them, but it was time to part ways. 3x5.75 would be a sweet deal somewhere like FLA. With the Canucks looking to make noise in the playoffs, it's time to see what kind of hockey player he is. Does he have it in him to go beast mode for the playoffs?
Edit: If Lindholm's play continues to trend poorly, I could see him considering a one-year "show me something" deal, signing for a discount with a top team.
