ETH thought today's performance was 'Very good?'

What game was he watching?

Bayern sleep-walked to a win against you, at home, in a 'do or die' match and their biggest concern was Neuer getting frostbite on his hands for standing around in the cold the whole time.

He just wants to save his job. Can't fire him for "very good" performances.
Sounds like Woody up in Edmonton.

I actually thought they might have had a chance at getting a goal...

Everyone knows that Bayern's 'Achilles' Heel' is rope-a-dope until Neuer gets bored and does something stupid.

My bad, tweet was deleted

Tha lack of urgency was so surprising, loss hurts nothing, if they won and got in europa it's long enough away and with january could take a real run at ot

Also still not sure what antony 'does'

I saw what he did for ajax....but he also had so much more time and space, he cant create either in champions league or prem on an even inconsistent basis

He either beats or is guided towards the end line by the defender knowing that he won't harm you from there and at some stage he'll have to turn back.

Which frustrates the hell out of me that we haven't had the chance to see if he would be equally as useless on the other wing.

Think Beckham on LW and Giggs on right.

But yeah. He brings nothing. Same as Martial which if ETH continues to run with them at the expense of some kid from the academy who couldn't be any worse then he deserves to get canned.

What game is everyone watching?

I'm thinking I'm going with Dortmund/PSG.

Mbappe just lives offside. He doesn’t need to do that. He’s fast enough to beat just about anyone

PSG’s tying goal was so lucky. Through the defenders legs with enough of a deflection to take it away from the keeper but not enough to block the shot or kill the pace

This has been a great match. They're both going for it and its back and forth.

And you're right, Mbappe just doesnt need to cheat that tiny little bit, once he turns on the afterburners nobody can catch him.

I am really liking this referee. He's just letting them go. Not buying the little crap and just in full control of the match. Its refreshing.

Well that's Newcastle dead. Will PSG send Milan packing too?

Agreed, great match

I think Kolo Muani could’ve (should’ve) been booked once, probably even twice for simulation. But otherwise this ref has been great

Marquinos wouldnt be on the pitch with any other referee. He's been throwing Professional fouls left and right.

Actually Milan are gone to Europa unless PSG lose, so yeah brutal two days for England's coefficient. Probably need Man City/Arsenal and Liverpool/Brighton/West Ham to win those competitions to get the fifth UCL spot.
