Just got tickets for tomorrow!
I'm pumped, win the next two and anything can happen. If we play smart we are the better team

I last posted this in the early and middle parts of our 10 game run.
Hopefully it helps bring some of that mojo back to the Flames tomorrow (and beyond), given that we now need a streak again. We could use anything to help right now.
We need "wiseguy" GG and the dominant Flames to make a return, once more. They have it in them. Just have to believe!

An overtime goal tipped with a stick 3 feet off the ice, and ruled "high sticking". I mean it's so perfect you can't make this stuff up.

I feel more pessimistic, but the realist in me says impossible.
Too many signs point to a sweep, rather than any sort of comeback. This is the worst matchup in the West for Calgary and it shows.
Forget about being close, or in games, or Corsi, it's about nothing except wins and losses... period. The Ducks are in the Flames heads and it is a major factor for them not losing a single game when leading after two periods all season, except for last night at home.
Sorry, but a don't see a snowballs chance in hell for this team.

Lets just say Flames fans expectations are currently zero so it can't get any worse - how's that for positivity?

I believe this team can still do it ... I'm sick of watching this team lose to the Ducks ... I'm pretty damn sure the Flames are sick of losing too ..... #### it ..... its time to stop being weak ... somebody should rip that Getzlaf banner down from the rafters .... burn it and hand the ashes to Ryan in a used Hitmen water bottle(harsh but effective) ... I say pedal to the metal .... Throttle 8 ..... Damn the torpedoes .... Go Flames Go !!!!!!!!!

I, too, appreciate the optimism. Unfortunately, I think it's a sweep tomorrow night. Maybe that's what this team needs to show management that we aren't close to done the rebuild.

Winning a series is sweet. Coming back from 0-3 to win a series is even sweeter. Give em hell boys.

I don't understand the banner in the rafters either, especially considering the Hitmen aren't even the main tenant in the building. You want to do something nice for Getzlaf? Put his picture up in the old dressing room, don't put a banner dedicated to him in a building that is primarily for the Flames when he plays for a bitter rival.
I can only imagine how good I'd feel if I went into enemy territory and saw a big banner dedicated to me up in the rafters.
Just stupid.

If you'd say before the series that the Flames had the Ducks within one goal or less well into the third, in each of the three games, you'd take it every time.
Problem is usually you need to win one or two of those tight games and the Flames haven't had the finish, bad puck luck, and dubious officiating, which makes the hill seem harder to climb for a team needing any break it can get.
Get past tomorrow, and the pressure is kinda off. Have zero pressure as no one expects you to win in ANA after 28 losses, in Game 5. Get Millions on the mic as he was the last commentator to call a Flames win in ANA (Don Whitman has now passed on, who did the game in the playoffs)and whatever other Seinfeld"opposite" superstitions required to get the curse over and done with.
Anaheim does not want to come back to Calgary for game 6 and they'd be on the back foot for sure.
Long way to go and no margin for error or bad luck or bad calls any more. But doable if they put together another good performance and then finish the off properly. Get some luck game 5 and come back here Sunday with the pressure on the Ducks.
