Butler has been playing much better on a pairing with Brodie, he's done nothing worth complaining about in the last few games.

I think the Flames will be lucky not to lose 8-0, but I predict a strong game by Berra.
Either way, I think we get shutdown hard this game.

No Sven tonight.
10:1 odds?

They are doing it wrong! You have to play Jackman LESS to increase his trade value.

Seriously, why do so many of your posts start with 'ummm'?

Looks to me like he's putting together a pair of more skilled guys, then throwing a crash-and-bang guy on the line with them.
If he sticks with that during the game it will be interesting to see the ice-time per line at the end of the night.

Unfortunately this is no longer the 80s and the goons instead will just bring the whole line down.
This must be how Oilers fans felt when JF Jacques played on their first line for a significant amount of time.

It's tough for the Flames to have another veteran, Glencross out with an injury.
They still have Mike Cammallari and Jiri Hudler to fill the leadership role tonight. Monahan, Reinhart, Backlund are the young guys that will have to step up tonight.
The Flames Defense group has been playing well and Reto Berra has shown a lot here in 2 games.
Flames win 4-3

Well considering we're 15 games in and he has been benched twice and been on the 4th line no more than once or twice, that's more than 10 games where (given the chance to produce) he's put up very little for a guy who is apparently supposed to be all-offence and shouldn't have to worry about defence.

Why does he get significantly less pp time than his linemates Hudler and Monahan? Considering our pp sucks ass, Hartley might want to consider giving more pp time to Backand4thlund and Benchschi

His playing on the 4th line with limited minutes has only been recently which is what I was refering to.

Bouwmeester with the Gordie Howe hat trick.
He makes a Phaneuf-esque open ice hit on Jackman and answers the call when O'brien steps in and actually holds his own, igniting the St. Louis crowd into a frenzy. St Louis then scores on the powerplay to put the game out of reach.

I don't know Webster, but I imagine he is (was?) the most boring, level-headed person ever to set foot in a library.
(wasn't upset at all - just establishing parameters for the bet)
