I say less than 3

also could be hilarious opening weekend with a few games ending 9 v 9
This is long overdue, hopefully they actually enforce it.

I hope they enforce it too. I want to see soccer refs treated like Rugby refs and no more schmoozing the 4th official on the sidelines either.

Opening day is going to be a bloodbath.

Apparently Pogba is done, as of an hour ago.

I think they are going to ease into this rule. However, it would be awesome if they didn't!

I doubt it.

yup, very reliable sources in France and Italy say so, as is Mourinhos mouthpiece Duncan Castles. Have seen everything between €100m and €130m reported, there seems to be some uncertainty regarding Raiolas cut and possible bonus payments. Either way, this one seems to be close.

Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan and Pogba in one transfer window despite no CL football, holy ####. I guess Woodward was right - "We can do things in the transfer market that other clubs can only dream of."

In other news, the Welsh Xavi is set to sign for Stoke City. Fee is about €15m, so well done Liverpool.

Neven Subotic has failed his medical at Middlesbrough. Needs surgery because of a rib issue.

Pogba's rumoured salary is £220,000 per week after tax, so his true base has to be somewhere close to £375,000 a week. All these stupid numbers just make me wonder what just Neymar would be worth, let alone Messi or Ronaldo.

And I think the 4th buy, plays the most games of the lot.

Stoke is already better than Liverpool, why are they making them better?

so for all the good he did

SAF treating Pogba like a reserve only ended up costing the club 130m

was his most expensive mistake for sure, yes.

personally I think it all evens out in the end. The Glazers saved a ton of money for many years because Ferguson was able to get out the very best of mediocre players and win titles without breaking the bank. Hell, there even was a summer where Ronaldo and Tevez were replaced by Owen, Obertan and Valencia.

obviously a great signing, although I think now United definitely need a shield in front of the back 4 because Pogba does look to stay forward a bit

the signings are done early too that while they won't have the advantage that Arsenal/Spurs have of squads that are very similar with each other already, they also wont be like City/Chelsea who are still probably looking at 3-4 signings each

I imagine over the next few years England, really any of the top 6 clubs, are going to start looking a lot stronger in the CL. Spanish cycle of dominance about to end IMO

I'm not seeing that, I keep reading that its done, and Madrid bowed out a while ago, I dont know why they'd want back in at the 11th hour.

the only one reporting that is di Marzio, and he even says that it's too late because Pogba is committed to go to United.

Madrid can go pound sand.

Zidane doesn't want him and it seems that Perez is actually listening to his manager for a change.

edit: doesn't want him is the wrong words, doesn't see the need would be better.

this also is another reason why it was always going to be Jose for them

Even if Mourinho doesn't work out, in 2 years they still have all the signings minus Zlatan

if you hire an unknown or less well known manager now, you dont get players like this until you are in the CL
