Word on the street is that ABGov will impose security deposits on new wind and solar projects when the moratorium is lifted next year.
Question:
Will security be required for the oil sands' $50 billion CCUS infrastructure?
*CO2 pipeline
*Gathering equipment
*Sequestration hub

The economics were thin as it is. This will make it very challenging to get FID approvals.

We are not a serious province, and don't really deserve to participate in a serious world.

Curious if it'll be similar to Liability Management Rules the AER has in place - or a separate program to provide more red meat for the base

I hope Hinshaw sues the ever-loving crap outa Smith and the UCP. It's a goddamn embarrassment how that party has treated her, no matter how you feel about her. She's a human being and a public servant, and to be treated like that is unexcusable.
Thanks, voters. You wear this embarrassment.

This is what, the second event of political interference coming directly from the premier?
In two separate branches?

When did this happen? I remember them having a fit about this just a couple weeks ago? Was it in the pro-corruption bill they passed just before Dani flew 100 people to Dubai for a week?

Four open investigations into Alberta's current government by three of our independent officers of the legislature (h/t @DebatingChris): Ethics Commissioner, Information Commissioner, and Auditor General.

Narraters voice: They went silent and didn't speak to a single transgression that we all knew would be coming under Smith. And then came back out from their rocks screaming at the NDP and their potential next light bulb blunder in the next election.
Just look at CP. Have you seen a single voter here come in and say "I voted for her and yeesh I don't like a lot of what's happening?

I've noticed it's either MAGA-inspired doubling down on every little thing the UCP does or sheer embarrassment that the leopards are eating their face.

Ya but, where is the apology from the left for voting in Trudeau, huh???
The carbon taxes are singlehandedly responsible for inflation.
