See, I'm a little confused at the wording of the conditions. If he plays 50% of the games in the first 2 rounds. Does that means 50% of the games in EACH round, or 50% of the first 2 rounds combined? You'd have to assume the latter, but it could be the former unless someone has seen anything clarifying it.
Either way, barring an unfortunate injury on his part, I don't think Russell will fall short of 50% of the games in this series, so the only thing stopping us getting that pick is Dallas not getting through.

From what I recall it was 50% in each. So either he needs to play 3 more games or 1 more. Either way that should easily be reached. Hopefully they win 3 more games and advance and we get a bonus 1st.

I haven't read anything that indicates it would be 50% in each round. That part of the condition should be met in the next game.

Regardless of how you interpret the Russell games played condition (i.e. if it is 50% of combined first two rounds or if it is 50% of round 1 and 50% round 2), the condition has been met.
The Stars pick can now only be 55* or 56* if the Blues eliminate the Stars. 27, 28, 29, 30 if the Stars advance.
*if Arizona receives compensation for Bleackley, pick drops another spot
The best case scenario left for the Flames is now: - Stars advance to the Western Conference final and lose.
- Capitals advance to the Eastern Conference final and lose.
- Arizona does not receive compensation for Bleackley.
Stars pick becomes 27th OA and Panthers pick becomes 55th OA.
The worst case scenario left for the Flames is now: - Stars are eliminated by the Blues.
- Capitals advance to the Eastern Conference finals.
- Arizona receives compensation for Bleackley.
Stars pick becomes 57th OA and Panthers pick becomes 55th OA.
Assuming the Pens hang on to eliminate the Caps:
Assuming the Caps are eliminated by the Pens, the best case scenario left for the Flames is: - Stars advance to the Western Conference final and lose.
- Arizona does not receive compensation for Bleackley.
Stars pick becomes 28th OA and Panthers pick becomes 54th OA.

OP updated
With the Capitals eliminated, Florida's and Dallas' (if the Flames get it) 2nd round pick have both improved 1 spot. It also removes the possibility that the Flames could get the 27th OA pick with Dallas' first
The Dallas pick now can be: 28,29,30, or 55*
The Florida pick now can be: 53* or 54*
There are 4 scenarios left for the Flames in the playoffs, ranked best to worst from a Flames POV:
1. Dallas advances to the Western Conference finals and lose
Dallas pick: 28th OA Florida pick: 54th* OA
2. Dallas advances to the Stanley Cup Finals and lose
Dallas pick: 29th OA Florida pick: 54th* OA
3. Dallas wins the Stanley Cup
Dallas pick: 30th OA Florida pick: 54th* OA
4. Blues eliminate Dallas in 2nd round
Dallas pick: 55th* OA Florida pick: 53rd* OA
*indicates the pick will drop one further spot if Arizona receives compensation for Connor Bleackley.

With Dallas eliminated, the draft picks have been set pending Arizona receiving or not receiving compensation. Playoffs results will no longer have any effect on the picks that the Flames currently have.
6th OA - Flames 1st
35th OA - Flames 2nd
53rd OA * - Panthers 2nd
55th OA * - Stars 2nd
65th OA * - Flames 3rd
95th OA * - Flames 4th
125th OA * - Flames 5th
155th OA * - Flames 6th
165th OA * - Wild 6th
185th OA * - Flames 7th
*indicates the pick will drop one further spot if Arizona receives compensation for Connor Bleackley. (have until June 1st 2016 to sign Bleackley)

Still a good amount of ammo to get some work done. Even if they make all the picks with those 2nds , there's some real interesting players they can take a look at.

Still a good return. Pollock is the next Patrice Bergeron, 56th is the next Zdeno Chara. Kevin is the next Fernando Pisani.

I guess we're trading the Dallas pick for a b-grade goaltender not an a-grade one

I do think our chances of getting Andersen from Anaheim just got a bit lower. The late first was a likely trading chip IMO.
However, Anaheim still has cap and contract issues, so it's still possible.

Two 2nd rounders can easily move us up into the late 1st round.
35th overall + another second. Or 35th overall + a 3rd even.
