Another great episode. I'm glad they're spreading this story over 3 episodes. 1 more to go.

I'm going to be so bummed when it's over.

Is it hyperbolic to say it's best X-men adaptation maybe ever?

It's definitely been the most fun but probably is the best adaptation.

It's not really fair to compare to live action. It's a little easier for them because they can tell these stories over 10 episodes and because it's animation, they can have lots of action and show off everyone's powers and have them look comic accurate. Something that's prohibitively expensive in live action, especially for TV shows.

I've love MCU, even some of the recent stuff, but I do wish they would invest in a Spider-verse level animated universe of movies.

Live action too you're more concerned about hitting more quadrants and making it as accessible to a general audience as possible. Here they're really made one for the freaks like me.

At this point I'm really behind on the MCU and I'm kind of scared to try and catch up haha. The only movie I think I've seen post Endgame is Spiderman and Guardians.

There's not a whole lot to catch up on in the MCU, which is kind of their problem. They have spent a lot of time sine Endgame developing characters that no one seems to care about. You can probably just watch the first season of Loki to see all the progress that's been made. Even then, maybe you don't have to, as they might be retconning Kang out anyways.

I'm definitely am loving X-men 97. I don't know if I'd call it the best adaption. The live stuff had some amazing entries, just also some horrendous ones too.

X2
Logan
First Class
Days of Futures Past
Deadpool

These are all top notch superhero films. I was looking through the total list of X-men films and totally forgot that they'd even made "Dark Phoenix". I literally remember nothing of this movie.

Although to be fair to that film, it sounds like production got cut off partway through, after Disney acquired the X-men rights, and what was supposed to be the setup to a grand 3 film story, was truncated into a single boring film, so that the studio could recover some costs.

My favorite X-men is Scott though, so that's probably playing into my bias.

You're dead to me.

You'd probably watch a Scott and Jubilee 'Buddy Cop' episode without wanting to kill yourself even once!

*shudder*

Its the belts and sunglasses isnt it? Isn't it???

I'm indifferent to Jubilee.

For Scott it's the Robb Stark esq daddy issues and leadership anxiety etc.

Scott has actually gotten so much better as a character in the last decade.

X-23 or bust! I have a theory she's Autistic.

I reallynliked the uniform changes in this week's episode. To be clear though I just enjoyed the change, not all of them were good(Jean).

Who wants a New Mutants or Young X-Men spinoff show?
