This is illustrating the importance of team defense.

For the last 2 months, the defense has been off the charts

Today, errors, dropped balls, kicked balls...

It's been a #### show defensively and as a result, they are trailing in the 8th.

today has been (by far) the worst team defense since the Tulo trade

and yesterday wasn't great either

The Red Sox really seem to bring out the worst in the Blue Jays. Good thing this is the last meeting with them

How many times will Gibbons put Smoak out there to strikeout? Gibbons coaching the Jays is the equivalent of a homeless man driving a Porsche.

Or we suck against Boston?

2-4 in the last 6 vs them.

I'm not worried about the yanks. We have our three best pitchers going up against them, should win at least two if not get the brooms out.

They just announced on the Yankees game that Tanaka is not going to pitch Wednesday. It'll be Nova instead to face Stroman.

By the way, Mets up 1-0 and still batting in the first

Jays should be in good shape as long as they don't get swept by NYY.

The Mets really got exposed as frauds and first round fodder this series. I was hoping this wasn't the case but its just too obvious. Look up their schedule after the trade deadline. Its basically all series against the bottom feeders of the NL - Rockies, Braves, Phillies, and Marlins.

Its too bad the Yankees exposed them but the Jays will take care of business. The pitching matchups are in their favour and they are simply are better team.

I think the Mets had really good pitching in the second half. That can go a long way in the playoffs.
