These late starts are killing me, I'm so tired... I didn't even make it through the 1st period last night before I passed out. It's not looking much better for tonight.
Early up for work and late hockey starts do not mix.

The worst starts are the 8:30pm local weekday starts. The Iginla trade day was one of those. Game isn't over until 11ish.

I prefer the later starts to be honest.
Allows me to focus on other hockey games/sports and still be able to watch all of the Flames game.

I'm lucky if Flames games are over at 11, more like 1:30am for Pacific Coast games

Looks like Shane Doan might be out tonight, Randy Sportak tweeting he's not on the ice for pregame warm up

Same here. I get bored watching them. I must turned down free ticket to see Coyotes-Flames games 3-4 times in the past few seasons already. I figured I would rather fall asleep watching the game in the comfort of my couch rather than falling asleep at the Saddledome.

Sportsnet Flames has a brutal audio delay on Shaw right now. Both on programming and on commercials. Hopefully they sort that out before the game starts, because it looks like this Edmonton game is going long.

Actually you're not ruining anything. What you think about it matters very little in the end.

Arg, that sucks.
At least we would get to see Breen though.

Hopefully Calgary gets out to a good start tonight. When playing back to back games, a big early goal is key, especially on the road.
My prediction : 3-1 Calgary. I hope Monahan scores again. It was sure nice to see Cammy get a goal and an assist last night too. He will score again tonight. Glencross will do nothing.

Good, I'd rather not see Gio get hit from behind tonight.

Being with out Gio shouldn't hurt Calgary. He is a give away machine. Do not let his point totals fool you. He is playing better than last season, but he is far from being where he was two years ago.

Great post. Unfortunately I am right. I have watched every game this season as I did last season. I have seen him improve. He is still playing far from his best defensive hockey. I love the shot blocking, and the hard work. I can't stand the giveaways though.
If Tj Brodie was out, it would hurt the Flames more right now.
