I really hope Ferland does not go with Prust. Don't think that ends well for Ferland

LMAO, I guess with Lack gone they need a new legend.
I can hardly wait for Bo Horvat's dad. Where's Hughson when you need him?

I predict a Canucks 4-2 win in an entertaining and hard-fought game. Bo Horvat will score and the legend will grow.

I'm pretty sure the legend they're referring to is Jim Houghson

Canuck fans are going crazy over Horvat. Guy is good but they talk like he is the future franchise player.

Canucks see how quickly Calgary turned it around with young talent but many of the Flames youngsters outside of Monahan and Bennett spent years developing outside the NHL. Can is in for a couple rough years

IMO this is easily the worst Canucks team in the past decade, 4-1 Flames

Ferland, Hudler, Monahan, Gio.

GFG
Pushaw, you know Monahan never scores until the third period or overtime!

Not sure what the buzz is like in Cowtown but there's almost none in my office here in VanCity. It almost seems the Nucks fans are already expecting gloom and doom this season.

6 hours and change remaining!

Ferland would rag doll Prust. Prust isn't the biggest guy or even the best fighter but Ferland has one punch power.

Imho they have some really good youngsters. Mcann virtanen subban horvat isn't the worst group of prospects for a team who's had their picks.

I think it's good for our rivalry much like mcjesus is good for the rivalry.

Maybe one day soon we can see Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and quite possibly the leafs all in the playoffs. That would be something. It would be great for Canada if all of the franchises were competitive.

Either way I see McCann and horvat as 2nd liners tops. But I think virtanen can be a top player in the league. I watched him in the whl and his play reminded me a lot of a young jarome Iginla, I'm upset he went to the nucks tbh

I wouldn't bet on that. Prust has been in some pretty serious tilts and done well for himself. Don't want ferland fighting too much. That's what bollig and engelland are here for.

Another thing. I really like that Sven is with the Canucks now. It brings a little extra bite to the games now, as a Flames fan at least.

^this. No one has mentioned hockey at all this week or even today. I got my Flames banners in my office all ready to go. Only bad thing about this place is the no 'Jerseys to work' rule.
