Does that mean I can cancel the $7 on my plan and iPhone will do it for me?

If you're running iOS 17, you can try it without cancelling and see if you like it.

Yeah, okay, that's where I always land. I hate voicemails anyway, so I don't really want to spend anything to keep getting them. Maybe I'll just change my message to 'text me if you need me' (but nicer) and disable the ability to leave messages.

It's pretty nice.

it's also very amusing when i get a call from Chinese scammers and the live voicemails just take the word and makes them English... not actually translating them, just taking the closest english words that sound similar to the chinese ones.

It was included with my plan, I didn’t know you had to pay extra for it.

I used to have it included probably ten years ago and then after a plan change it became a $5 extra. Telus.

Second bulb just went on the bathroom vanity. May as well order a 4 pack for matching colours, it seems these have a pretty even life span. Short. Feit Electric, you disappointed me for the last time!

You have to stop buying lightbulbs out of the back of a van.

Is that still a thing? I remember the days of vans in parking lots selling hot speakers, home electronics, etc. but that was a long time ago.

Have you ever heard of 'Feit Electric?' It sounds like Yugoslavian lightbulbs only for Elephants.

They are an American company, so it's not like I bought Pholips bulbs.

Who doesn't love a haggard Statham showing up at scam call center with gas cans announcing he's going to burn the place down?
It's satisfying on a primal level.

Easily a surefire winner as a 'date' movie, I found. My date loved it.
- Chicks dig Jason Statham.
- I dig action movies.
- Everyone digs watching scam call centers get blown the f--k up.

People in the express lane checkout with full grocery carts.
- I'm buying alcohol, I can't use the self checkout.
- They only have 3 lanes open because 2 other staff have to help strugglers at the self checkout (or prevent theft, or both).
- I go the 15 items or less lane, and sure enough, 3 people ahead of me with full carts.
At least nobody paid with a cheque this time.
