Trump now claiming he was given a defective microphone. Many people are saying it was laced with cocaine, hence the sniffles.

We all know the 400lb guy sitting in his bedroom hacking the DNC was Chris Christie.

Should not get lost in the noise: Trump did not dispute he pays zero federal income tax.

Yep, and he said "it would've been squandered" [by the govt.], not "it was squandered" in regards to it.

I'm no spring chicken, but he sounded like such an out-of-touch geezer on that subject. "My son is so good with the computers... cyber is such a concern, we have to defend cyber...", like "cyber" is a thing.
We've seen his mastery of Twitter, but he's said he doesn't even use email, because cyber.

I don't get this, so what? He shouldn't over pay tax, that is just stupid.
He should be embarrassed he doesn't give to Charity with all his tax savings, but not embarrassed he uses the system legally.
To me, and I can't explain why, this is much different then his legal use of not paying workers/bankruptcy

But Trump really got stuck on this question, arguing with the moderator. He had the good line of 'ill release my taxes when you release your deleted emails" but then abandoned it.

That's a point, but not really what the discussion was about when I quoted Flash's post. I agree the lack of tax returns is dumb, but specifically regarding the fact he may not be paying tax is what I was responding too.

And I don't get this. By that measure, a man who claimed he will make $694,000,000 this year would be overpaying if he paid $1 in federal income tax.
Everyone wants to pay less taxes. I know I do. But this is clearly cheating the (apparently broken) system.

Relieved to see Clinton in this environment. Pretty composed. Meanwhile greatest awesome way disaster greatest. That's trumps vocabulary. Love how he accused Clinton of not reading her own book... ha!

He isn't cheating any tax system, if he was, the audit would send him to jail.
For the record, I despise him, I feel the need to say that!

That was like watching the teacher's pet debate the D-student who's decent at shot-put. The biggest challenge for Hillary was not looking too smug.
It was so bad, in fact, that it made me start to think again that Trump is maybe a Clinton plant - doing what he can to hand her the election.
Such a weird bit of TV, and hard to believe it wasn't SNL.

Okay, as I review the transcript, this is the thing that blows me away about Trump's economy argument: Essentially asking people to trust that big businesses will direct their increased profits under lower taxes toward more jobs and better salaries; and simultaneously acknowledging that as a business-owner, he often chose not to pay the people working for him, even when he was paying either no taxes or close to no taxes.
You cannot listen to what Trump claims is 'good business', and then simultaneously believe that his proposed tax cuts to businesses will result in any sort of benefit for American workers. Unless you also believe that Donald Trump is simply the most morally bankrupt businessman in America. (Which might be possible, but that's hardly reason to vote for him, either.)

What's sad is when Trump loses this election, that won't be the end of him.
He'll go down screaming and crying about fraud, emails and will not admit defeat. The man is crazy, there is really something wrong in his head.
