We have our first point of contention... Rangers missed their pick and were given a player... the next selection was made, though also on auto-pick... then the Rangers made their selection in the other thread... thoughts?

How much time passed between their auto-pick, and their actual pick?
If it was more than a few hours, the auto-pick should stand.
Just imo of course.

It's been almost 3 hours since the Kulemin pick, give the Flames Nielsen and if he shows up in the next couple of hours and wants to take a guy that hasn't been selected let him do so.
I'm ready with my pick, just give me the go ahead.
Also, it might be a good idea to PM all the managers in this draft to notify them the draft has been moved from the main board.

Sorry I've just been busy today. Rangers can have Kulemin and Flames can have Nielsen, who's ever up after that can pick now.

Should I start a new redraft with 10/15 people with 3/2 teams each? The thread move hurt this draft pretty badly and it's just auto pick after auto pick right now

Swayze has been in here today so he should get his pick in.
I still say we don't abandon this thing yet. We are coming off of a long weekend and its back to school, so people are probably busy. I just don't see people giving up on this just because it moved forums. Im pretty sure people are going to want to finish what they started. At least I know I would. but like its been said before as long as the next gm is pm'd then hopefully it should be fine.

I agree. It would be weird to just forget about a draft you're 5 rounds into just because it's not on the main page anymore. People should explore all parts of the forum anyways

Don't let the door hit you on the way out bud. This draft is not over, It's just the recent events (thread moved, peoples summer vacations are ending) is what is slowing this down. I'm sure we can get it done eventually.

Well just in case this thing keeps going I went ahead and picked Laich for the Leafs. Littlereddevil is up next, but is not online so Im guessing it won't be his pick until tomorrow.
Im off to Vegas tomorrow so I won't be around all weekend, if this draft completely dies by the time I get back then I guess we can call it off and maybe do something for the people that still want to be involved.
Remember that this thing doesn't need to be done at a certain time, if we can get at least 20 people to still commit we can get this thing done still. i know im still willing to see this thing through
