My youngest daughter used to be the worst for this.
From the moment she got in the car she'd start emptying the contents of her backpack and then we get there and her crap is everywhere and she took forever getting it back together to get out of the car.
It took a while to train that behaviour out of her.
"The backpack stays up front here, with me, while you sit back there."

I propose an experiment. How many cans of this does it take to 1. Cause a minor inconvenience, 2. #### #### up good 3. fill it so it comes out of the little holes?

There actually should be no reason why you couldn’t safely do a u-turn after dropping off your kid (from the front of the school), if that wasn’t happening. Unless your car has the turning radius of a city bus.
|
Indeed I misunderstood. But the point still stands not to do a U-turn or speed in playground zones or schools. #### gets chaotic fast and an accident could happen. It's not worth it.
That's why I wish they'd improve the roads around schools. We don't need the barriers in between the lanes. Turn those into dual turn lanes so people can get around easier. Also, so people don't have to feel antsy and upset if they missed their opportunity to go through an intersection because another caravan of kids has started crossing the road.
Frustration wait time comparable wise, it's like sitting at the train tracks for 5-10 minutes waiting for the train to pass... but humans.

I don't think I've ever heard of someone chastising a driver for literally using the roads as they're designed.

Your fault for not driving fast enough over speed limit through those strugglers. That's why they could chase you down and get upset.

I'm sorry...this is just hysterical to me.
"Cookies man...cookies. That was the last straw!"
I imagine a speech in front of thousands of people:
"My friends! I have seen the future! And its not cookies!! We must bring down the Establishment! And we start with Crumbl!!"

We need to put them in those Anti-Bear suits so we can comfortably hit them with our cars.

I think we lost the war on cars the minute Patrollers were no longer allowed to actually go into the street to stop cars.

The week before Christmas is like tax time for couriers. I’m a little on edge. I’ll be better by the weekend.

Are they Patrols of Kids or Patrols against Kids? What are we talking about here?
I remember my Jr. High had a Traffic Patroller thing, but they were replaced with a button that turned on Flashing lights.
That seemed to solve the problem.

We're talking "Patrollers" who are kids with neon colored pinnies, an AMA hand held stop sign plus a neon cone at the ends of the crosswalk.
Flashing lights? Pfft. I don't even think they use whistles anymore.

Well....that just makes you a big ol' target for an angry bastard controlling a couple tons of steel and has things to do and places to be.

Twice this afternoon I’ve had left lane hogs (you can guess the vehicle they were both in) give me the finger for passing them on the right. The second one had an Oilers plate so #### him especially.
