St. Louis is trending to 89 points. I don’t think it’s going to be the usual 95 points unless one of the teams goes on a heater (STL, Nash, Minn, Seattle, Cgy).
Which magnifies the games the Flames lost to all of the bottom feeders like Chicago and SJ. Just because the Flames consistently do that. I don’t care how many times they beat Boston, Vegas, Winnipeg, Colorado ect. They always seem to find a way to shoot themselves in the foot.
But I bet the WC2 spot will be the lowest point total in a while.
I’m torn. It’s those “stuffy suits” that keep the show on the road, but my god, they create less atmosphere and enjoyment than something that has almost no atmosphere and enjoyment.
I wish the business model for hockey created more moments like yesterday - even watching thousands of kilometers away on TV, that was a lot of fun.
Thank god they stopped letting those kids do the PA announcements after 1 period. My god it was terrible. Way to ruin the atmosphere so little Billy and little Alice can mumble and shriek their way thru a goal call. It’s not like they were make a wish kids or something.
My son took a chunk out of the drywall with his watch when he imitated Kylington's glass leap celebration. The least mad I've ever been about unnecessary drywall repair.

Great comeback by the team, regardless of whether the Jets played well or not.
Loved Kylington's goal, what a beauty, and the celebration was well deserved.
It was pretty tame - many felt happy for Monny myself included). Some even hoped he’d get a 4th so some lady from Saskatoon would get $100k on the Save-on Foods Million dollar score and win.
