Well, Eric, that’s because details are not your friend.

Really weird seeing Carolina fans at the Dome. Gotta be players’ friends or relatives.

Flames still with plenty of jump, and they're playing the right way. Just gotta find the back of the net.

I just turned the game on for the first time, to see Janko cycle to nobody and head to the bench. Sigh

All I want for Christmas is for Eat Bread not fall down every shift. Guy is taking a step forward this year, but he falls down sometimes and kills any momentum he has in the offensive zone. A little stronger on his skates and he could be a real solid offensive player for a long time.

Kylington is fast. He caught up to someone already in stride for that icing call.

It just occurred to me that I don’t give pro athletes enough credit for their mental toughness. Just watching Ryan lose that faceoff and then have to chance his guy up the ice... I was like, these guys experience failure numerous times a night and they always just get right back out there as if it never happened.

The mind of a goalie must be phenomenal.

Dougie had the puck and everybody just stood still. Please don't do that.

Stockton Heat update: Luke Philp scores again for the Heat. He now has 11 goals in his last 12 games.

I don’t think Reider likes to shoot. He consistently goes for dekes on breakaways. So this time, because he was forced to shoot, he missed.
