3-1 win for Foothills. 2 goals an an assist from Moses Danto. Jones scored the other.
Wasn't at the game due to a family commitment, but it sounds like the crowd in Okotoks was very poor. Show Up Ship Out got it's biggest turnout of the season though.

Sounds like the move to Okotoks will be a positive one. Club has already doubled their season ticket base with 4 weeks left to go before the season.
So 2/3 of the way through the season, and it looks like the number of butts in seats does not correlate to the increase in season ticket sales. Outside of the opener, the games have been poorly attended.
Foothills finish the season going 11-1-2, scoring 30 and only giving up 7. They are currently the top team in the Western Conference, but Golden State are one point back with one game left to play.
The Western Conference finals are next weekend in California, which is a 4 team tournament. If Foothills stay in first they will play FC Tuscon. If Foothills end up in second they will play Colorado Rapids U23.
Should Foothills advance they will play the winner of the central Conference on July 28, with the PDL championship game coming on August 4 if they advance again. The club mentioned that they have applied to host both games should they make it.

Foothills will host Chicago FC United at 7 pm on Saturday. Game will be at Foothills High School in Okotoks. I've heard rumblings of a bus from the Ship and Anchor, but haven't seen anything confirmed yet.

I hope there’s a good crowd for this, if I hadn’t bought tickets for the UFC fights at the Dome that night I would be ther for sure. I assume there will be a stream?

Bus from the Ship and Anchor to the game is confirmed. Bus leaves at 5:30. Kickoff is at 7 in Okotoks. We'll be there a little early for pregame pints. Usual deal of $15 for a ticket, pint and ride to and from the game.
I think Nuje (if he still posts here), CofR and RM14 can all attest to the bus being a kickass time.
Hell of a game last night. Biggest crowd in Foothills history. Game was a bit scrappy but the Foothills backline was strong again and never looked like they were going to give up a goal. 625 minutes without a goal against now.
Us supporters also managed to get some hate on Reddit (of course, not in person) after the game from other people at the game, so I think we've officially made it as a group. EDIT: Looks like the hate is from a few of our guys going behind the Chicago net and harassing the keeper in the second half, which is fair.
Final is next Saturday in Reading. Reading United are a very good team, and I would argue Foothills are in tough against them on the road. We'll be setting up a watch party at Wurst for the game so if you are interested in watching it, swing by.

I have a nice lil' cameo in that video, as I checked out my first PDL game. The game was definitely quite scrappy like you mentioned. Quality wasn't great, especially from Chicago...they were incredibly underwhelming and had zero threats up front.
Unfortunately I think the pitch played a big part in the poor quality of the game. From afar, it looked quite nice, but you could tell it was pretty poor by the way the ball was bouncing around. Made it difficult to play through the midfield I imagine, which is why both teams seemed to be relying on the long ball so much.
Was listening to Tommy Weldon Jr on the fan last night and he said Reading has removed all video of their team so they cannot use any video scouting. He seemed upset and said they will use it a motivation. Kind of a cheesy thing the other team has done.

FYI there will be multiple watch parties for the game on Saturday. The supporters watch party will be at Wurst, when the beer hall opens at 4:30. The club is also holding a watch party at the Ship and Anchor.
My advice is to go to Wurst for the watch party, as every watch party we've had at the Ship and Anchor in the past has been marred by technical issues and having to huddle 20 people around a 3 person table.
