Bill Cosby Rape Allegations

Thanks to a 1990 law passed in California allowing civil suits even after the criminal statute of limitations is up in cases of underage abuse, Cosby will desposed to testify by end of September.

Bill Cosby has hit back at seven women who have accused him of sexual assault, filing a countersuit for defamation, claiming that they interfered with his Netflix and NBC deals that were canned after allegations resurfaced last year.

The suit, filed Monday in federal court in Massachusetts, claims that the women tarnished Cosby’s “honorable legacy and reputation” by “willfully, maliciously, and falsely accusing Mr. Cosby of multi-decade-old purported sexual misconduct.” Accusers Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie are named as defendants in the countersuit.

Green filed the first suit late last year, with Serignese and Traitzsoon joining that suit soon after. Bowman, Tarshis, Moritz and Leslie joined the complaint in November.

In their complaints, the women sue Cosby and, in some cases, his legal team for defamation after he denied their accusations of sexual assault. Most of the accusers cannot sue for sexual assault, as the alleged incidents took place decades ago and have passed the statue of limitations.

Cosby and his legal team have rarely brought up the projects trashed by Netflix and NBC in November, 2014, as resurfaced allegations began to gain steam. The most recent suit, however, claims that the accusations cost Cosby the deals.

“Each Counterclaim Defendant induced both NBC and Netflix to postpone or cancel their contracts with Mr. Cosby by engaging in a campaign to assassinate Mr. Cosby’s reputation and character,” reads Cosby’s suit.

An arrest warrant has been issued for entertainer Bill Cosby for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple employee Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania mansion in January 2004, sources tell PEOPLE.

Bill Cosby is not the typical black man though. He was loved by white people in his prime and probably even for the first few allegations. He has the "Uncle Tom cheat code" so he may be ok.

Pennsylvania allows the testimony of 'similar' victims, so expect 40 odd women to testify against him if they can get it into court, at which point he's gone for good.

The crux of this will be whether that unsealed testimony will be allowed into the trial, his legal team will fight tough and nail to keep it out.

I never said he was totally innocent I just have a hard time believing 40+ women all of a sudden remembered his transgressions.

You totally missed the fact he admitted to having date rape drugs with the Intent to drug woman. You don't wake up as an old man having a thought of this out of the blue.

He is most likely a serial rapist. Hell there is even an arrest warrant out for rape now.

Even if 39 of the women are lying and using him for a cash grab (which is ridiculously unlikely)...he still assaulted one of them. He still raped someone.

Even if half of the women are lying he still assaulted the other half.

He's pressing charges against some of the women for defamation of character--not all of the women, just some of them. So is that de facto admission that he assaulted the others, since he's not suing them on the same grounds?

If 2 or 3 women came forward and he hadn't admitted to purchasing drugs with the purpose of using them on women, maybe your "cry wolf" idea has some ground to stand on.

Again, if even 10% of the women accusing him are on the up-and-up, he's still a serial rapist and has sexually assaulted multiple people. It doesn't have to be 40 women to make him a scumbag.
