Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Joel McHale is at the Jube in May.

His character on Kroll Show kills me every time
Wow your generous if you're calling Mulaney (TV show) mediocre. The only part that was truly funny was in the finale when his girlfriend's daughter said to him after spending the day with him and gazing over the NYC skyline "this reminds me of Woody Allen"

His standup however is simply amazing.

The event centre was quite nice. Good acoustics, no bad seats (and we were right at the back). Amy and her opener/friend Rachel Feinstein were hilarious. (Rachel is in the middle of Amy and Nikki Glaser in that picture above.)

Only thing that sucked was trying to get out of the parking lot. It's a real bottleneck out of Grey Eagle so it was close to 40 minutes of just sitting there before we could get out. In the future I'd just go get a drink after a show.

I plan on watching this in its entirety. It's both funny and sad at the same time.

My wife and I went to see Bobby Slayton tonight. He was unbelievably funny. He crosses the line often and it gets a little cringey at times but it was great. He is only 60 but he's the heir apparent to Don Rickles.

That's great to hear, I wished I'd checked him out now. His standup can actually be the opposite of what you described sometimes, depends on the show.

I finally got to see Bill Burr on Sunday night. He seemed a little scattered for the first 20 minutes or so but he built up steam quickly and had a great show. I'd definitely see him again.

I highly recommend Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle on Netflix. The guy's one of the more brilliant and innovative comedians I've seen.

Amy Schumer is a joke thief and not very funny. Surprisingly John Lovitz was really funny in person.

Awesome! Nice that he'll be at an actual venue this time and not some basement at the University
