I downloaded one the other day. But not today or yesterday. I didn't see a notification for a new one

I am getting the same thing as you right now, frustrating because this is my first full day off to play the game since i bought it

Just got my best bargains in HUT, picked up both Patrice Bergeron and Peter Mueller in the auction for $400 pucks each.

So I just got an Iginla card for 2000 pucks.... there was 17 secs left in the auction when i looked and no bids... so I got excited and bid 2000 just to get Iggy

Bummer is ... 0 contract ( which is fine) but only 23 games left in the career =( guess I have to use him sparingly . I did turn around and post him at like 5000 pucks just to possibly flip it but dunno if it sold.

Make sure to always check the number of career games left. I've seen people selling cards with 0 games left on several occasions. And I've seen people buy them too. I think EA prevent people from selling cards with less than 5 career games left.

Kinda shows the lack of foresight in EA.

got datsyuk, jeff carter, shea webber, phaneuf and ryan kesler all in one pack...
big improvment on my former #1 line of Jon Sim, Steve Bozek & Mike Ryder....

I bought an Iggy card with 0 games left for 2100. Didn't realize there were even career games at the time, which was a huge downer.

is it just me ? or once you put a card in your trade pile or collection, you no longer can put it on your roster...? seems like the only options are discard or sell?

bought a 96 overall kopitar with 80+ games left in auction for 5k, then i sold him for 9800 an hour later, i probably could have gotten more...

this was on the 360.

and those premium packs will deflate the prices of individuals cards soon....

You can place them on your roster. You'll just have to place them on a open slot on your scratched roster. Take a player off the roster, and then use the search card function to replace the empty spot.

Some people like to just collect the cards, so that's why sometimes people will buy cards with 0 career games left.

F this mode. I'm done with it. One month to qualify for playoffs and my first game is against a guy who's absolutely stacked, and the lag is the worst I've ever seen. It's 9:45 am on a friday. I lost 3-0 and only saw 1 of the goals. One second i'm chopping around centre ice, the next there's a goal. Absolutely atrocious. Why does every game seem to have flawless online except EA games?

Screw it, I'm taking a very long break from this game to finish Red Dead Redemption.

If I'd paid money for pucks I would somehow be even more annoyed.

i gave up on it too. a lot of what made me quit was bad luck with packs. i was getting crap for cards. my rares would be a 25 game contract that i could have bought for 250 pucks on the market or some alternate jersey. it was frustrating to spend hours playing to earn pucks for a pack and then have it be a waste of pucks.

meanwhile, playing online is absurd because most people spent a lot of real money and have an allstar team. not to mention potential lag problems.

Yeah. I completely appreciate that you could, in theory, build a team by earning pucks the hard way, but realistically, you’d need an army of chinese puck farmers to accomplish it.

When they started doing the “super ultimate bonus pack today for $x.xx” I had to pack it in. I know, obviously, that people with more disposable income should be entitled to an advantage, but when the advantage is more like a 10x multiplier effect rather than say a 20-30% advantage, it’s pretty clear this isn’t the game mode for me.

Back to ranked VS matches, which are still as fun as always.
