I am still up in the air. Mirroring because she wants to be more like him, or mirroring as a means of helping him reflect on his behavior?

unsure about Kim. It first felt like she was testing how far he'd actually be willing to go, but then I wasn't so sure any more. Hard to say where her moral compass is at right now and even harder to predict her fate.
good to see Lalo making it out of there alive. Wouldn't have been very satisfactory if he was killed by some mercenary ... the payoff would be much bigger if that honour went to someone like Nacho. Doubt it, but would be great.
thought it was an okay finale as a whole. Fell a bit short in comparison to other episodes this season, but did a good job at setting up things for season 6 (whenever we get to see that one, it's going to be quite the wait ).

None of any of the bb/Bcs seasons had big episodes for season finales. It all peaks before and into the penultimate episode. The final episode is where they wrap things up and set up next year. Most of the really good shows structure their seasons like a novel. and moved beyond the days of hyped network finales.

We are a bit spoiled to consider an episode with a crazy cartel gunfight as being sub par.

That gunfight was intense. Couldn't figure out why Lalo left the bathtub cover open,
until he did what he did. Brilliant.

Just finished binge watching this season. Wow, amazing television. I found the first couple seasons of the Chuck/HMM storyline boring. But it's been quite a crescendo since then and back to the Breaking Bad style TV that we all know and love. The entire Cartel storyline has been nothing short of phenomenal and done a great job to fill in the gaps for this entire saga.
Lalo is an awesome antagonist and can't say enough about the performance of Kim and Mike. Episode 9 was one of the best TV episodes I've ever seen in any series ever.
Can't wait for next season.

Episodes 1-4 don't seem to be available on demand (Telus) for me. Is it not possible to watch on demand?

I believe AMC has some weird rules around their on-demand content where they only allow the last X number of episodes to be available on-demand, so you don't want to get too far behind.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: How would you describe Lalo’s demeanor as he hobbles off his estate in the final moment of the season? What is the exact thought going through his mind?
TONY DALTON: He's pissed, man. [ Laughs] They killed his cook — are you kidding me?! You don't do that to a Mexican!
On a scale of one to 10, how scared should Nacho be right now?
Oh man, I think he's dead! He should be really scared.

just finished the finale... another tremendous season.
Not too sure why Howard is getting so much hate from Jimmy and Kim in particular... seemed like he was trying to make amends to Jimmy... man, Kim though... used to be the voice of reason... its not going to go well for her in the final season.
heck of a show though; didn't think Gilligan would be able to capture the magic of BB, but somehow he has...

ALL ABOARD!

This has to be up there with the greatest spinoff series in TV history. What a weird character to do it with but Odenkirk carries it with a great cast. The "easy out" would have been a Jesse spin off. Aaron Paul is great but they were able to shift the whole thing and expand the world while tying in great old characters.

totally... i was a huge fan of Breaking Bad, and was actually a little worried when the news came out that Gilligan and Gould were going to make a series based around that slimeball Saul...seemed like going back to the well just as a cash grab rather than creating new IP
Was i ever wrong.
Better Call Saul is a more sophisticated, nuanced show in many ways compared to BB... a slow burn, but totally worth watching
