Just you wait.

So true.
Sad thing is, even if I invest several million into gear to double or triple my HP, resists etc, what, do I get 3 hits before I die?

The melee classes are basically screwed in inferno.

Yes. My Barbarian has hit a wall in act 2. I could keep trying and eventually after months and months get really good gear, but forget that! I am going to sell everything my barbarian has and buy things for my 2nd character, the Demon Hunter. That will give me a better chance to find good items as I will be able to go past act 2 hopefully.

Yeah not having fun with my monk on inferno Not thru act 1 yet, but had to readjust my play style quite a bit. Im at about 11k dps, 300 resistance and 30k HP. Should be enough to get thru act 1 but some elite packs just slaughter me beyond repair. Getting thru hell and stuff, my build wasn't a traditional build but worked for me and I liked it. I've been trying many different builds over the last 4 - 5 days. Not progressing at a decent rate. I redo my build, start beginning of act 1 to get used to it, and still hitting my head against the wall against the elite packs. Spend a fair bit of gold trying different builds to go along with different gear. Just not having fun. If act 2 is the real stumbling block then yeah... not looking forward to it on the monk.
Rerolling, trying out wizard.

Inferno act II for monk is basically filled with you trying to avoid everything and not die every 5-10 seconds.

I am thinking that my plan as a DH will evolve to this before too long. Can only take so much farming before you realize the gains from AH are pretty minimal at this point. Luckily I have a few skills that let me become invuln to try and outrun everything'

I've gotten past act 2 inferno as wizard and barbarian, I actually found it a bit easier as a barb with 45k hp, 900 resist all, and 8k dps. It took me 3-4 tries to kill Belial.
As a wizard it was easier to kill elite/champ packs as long as they were outside but Belial took 50+ attempts because I kept messing up in phase 3 as he would 1 shot me if he hit me with any of his attacks.

Not common (compared to the # of people out there with the game), but still happens to a lot of people.
I mean I wasn't even playing WoW at all and I still had my Battle.net account hacked a while back.
Mobile authenticator and strong passwords are a must.

If you contact them I guess they can roll back your account as well, though that'll take a long time.
Unless it's just a bug.

Bluck, that is insane DPS. WTF!!
Slacker, you've likely met a hacker.
Shawnski, you are still needing a brewski.

What is your non-SS dps? I am about 48k with SS and just about 27k with.

Got my first legendary drop, some lame dagger that's half the DPS rating of my current best weapon.

Put it on the auction house for some ludicrous buyout price and chances are someone will buy it.

I dunno, it's called "Pig Sticker" and there was hundreds of them, lots with better stats.
Stuck it in there for a decent price anyway.

No, no they won't.
The AH is starting to stabilize. Anything posted way above value will rarely sell. Heck, even items posted at relative values might not sell.
Best buys are those that you stumble onto (via your particular query) just as they are posted where they are quite underpriced. MANY people are looking for these, even if it is just in order to resell them for a higher amount.

Totally agree. I almost always post my AH stuff way below what i consider market value, just to ensure it sells. If it doesn't I end up with 2 days of not being able to post anything else, and needing to vendor lots of decent stuff just to have room for the better stuff.
