Germanby and Holland are my favourite teams to watch, I hate the love-fest that Spain get because they are insanely boring.

I agree that a Terry-Ferdinand pairing seems like a bad idea but with the mid-field looking to be riddled with over the hill/meh guys like Lampard, Gerrard and Barry (and heaven forbid if they bring Scholes back!) I think having Terry on the squad is the least of their worries right now.

midfield will likely be some combo of Parker/Cleverley/Wilshere (if healthy)
Gerrard could slot in as well
Barry/Lampard probably play some part but unless there are injuries they won't be starting

The fact that Gerrard is even considered would scare me as an England fan, moreso than Fatty Frank or even Barry. How this guy continues to be in consideration for England baffles me.
I would bet money on Wiltshire being injured (although that seems like a fairly safe thing to do at this point.)

if Rooney available I would prefer Gerrard to be in the center 3 of a 4-2-3-1 behind Rooney
only because they work well together
because Rooney is out I would hope they do something around
Welbeck (although Defoe or Bent wouldn't surprise me)
Sturridge/Cleverley/*
Parker/Wilshere
Cole/Jones/**/***
Hart
* best in form of Young, Lennon, Walcott, possibly Oxlade-Chamberlain although Capello hates playing young guys
** King, Jags, Shawcross, Smalling, Dawson, Terry
*** Walker or Richards, anyone but Glen Johnson

At least this invader didn't handcuff himself to a post.

Or put the ball in the net.
Not a riveting display thus far.

Bale gets something to complain about.
Awful challenge by Skrtel.
Andy Carroll is poor.

Absolutely zero quality on the final ball from Liverpool. Not surprising though, its been the same way all season. We will never get any use out of Carroll if we can't put a cross within ten feet of him more then once or twice a game.
I was surprised with Tottenham today, it seemed like they came out playing for a draw right from the beginning.

I thought Carroll played well, as he has the past few weeks
hopefully for his sake Kenny sticks with him and lets him get a bit of a run going

Agreed. Downing has been the bigger disappointment considering he was brought in for his crossing skills. He simply doesn't have the pace/trickery to get himself open on the wing to send any crosses in. We are still in desperate need for wingers.

the ball is out of shot, about 6 feet above where suarez (a world class player) is trying to 'kick' it

I don't see what the big issue is here. The ball would have been right where Suarez's foot was if it wasn't headed out. A yellow card seems completely reasonable since he was going for the ball and missed. Isn't that basically the definition of a yellow card?

I've just seen the TV replays, and I've changed my mind from 2127... that wasn't accidental at all by Luis Suarez. He didn't look at the dropping ball at all, and he knew he was going to kick Scott Parker. Naughty. And extremely lucky not to be shown a straight red.
|
if its a foul at all its a red
the ball was coming down and he kicked at Parker's stomach, it then hit Parkers head

I doubt this video will stay on youtube long, but you can see Suarez looking up at the ball and tracking it down.
