And now all of a sudden England-Portugal looms as it stands.
Edit: Hungary should be ahead again...

I basically agree with your assessment. But Mayweather does not belong in that conversation.
Lebron and Whine-aldo aren't convicted women abusers. And they don't worship themselves or their money like Mayweather. Side note: I'm appalled anyone in the western world supported Mayweather in that fight v Manny.

Say what you want about the Edmonton fashion style, but the Hungary keeper's grey sweatpants are so cool.

Why? There was never a doubt Canada would make the gold medal game, and there was only an outside chance they wouldn't win the gold.
IMO, Iceland making the round of 16 and beyond is 10,000x more significant than Canada's hockey golds.

The pants tucked into the socks gives it more of a classy continental look anyway.

Because this is our gold. Making EM was massive but making the 16 is insanity!

I just meant like why would you have been nervous about Canada's gold? I wasn't nervous in the least in 2014 and 2010. I wasn't even heartbroken when they lost in 2006. It was meh, we'll get em next time.

So basically if Iceland-Austria tie, they are both out? Or does Iceland still have a shot with 3 depending on how the other games go?

Iceland is through with a tie and Austria is out. If Austria win and Hungary win, Portugal and Iceland are out.
