I was at game in Nashville not long ago and I was surprised how elaborate their chants were. It was a fun and loud atmosphere. Wish the Saddledome was like that. My only complaint is their embarrassing banners they decided to put up. https://deadspin.com/this-predators-...ing-1829651614

What is going on in the Vancouver pre game? Waving a white towel at centre ice already? Does that mean they give up?

Weird to surrender before the series even begins.

The only fanbase irresponsible enough to have an outdoor party.

thats not even a bad faith interpretation either. talk about going from a cool playoff tradition to cringe.

the towel wave, as i understand, comes from when a canucks coach whinning and crying about bad reffing, and waiving the towel as "surrender" or some bull#### to the refs.

the playoff tradition the canucks have centres around surrender and crying about bad officiating. so ####ing cringe.

Their first presentation is a white flag - the Canucks are the France of the NHL.

You never go full France.

Bring back the chunky opera guy, that first guy who sang the US anthem was annoying as hell.

But he was vision impaired.

I hate when teams have a separate singer for each anthem.

The Winnipeg choir singing the anthems was so much better than that. I wonder if they pay the O Canada singer half pay for singing half the song.

I don't care if he had 8 arms, I can't stand singers who try to drag out an anthem trying to sound like some record making diva and show off octaves. Nobody came to see you guy, get it done and get off the ice.

Conflicted.

Nashville winning would be enjoyable because Canucks losing in playoffs is always funny, but we need a team that can handle the No Goods still kicking next round.

He's a good singer but it's weird to give it that much extra for the American anthem in a Canadian city, then have a tame Canadian anthem.
If he was singing in a US market, it would fit better.
