I say worse. Even though we'd have more skill in the line up I suspect we would be losing more often and by bigger margins. No way this team would have the attitude it does if Iggy was still here as the captain.

We maybe wouldn't be worse from a standings perspective, but I think we would still be dreadful to watch as has been the case in years past. Iggy just couldn't be the teams focal point. Some teams can move away from a mindset like that gracefully, while keeping the player (ala Redwings w/ Yzerman) but I think it was pretty clear that Iggy had to go in order to see a change in attitude. I'm not saying Iggy had a bad attitude, but the attitude of the team surrounding him and focused on him was detrimental to the overall success IMO. It's not a slight to him, everyone hits a point of diminishing returns. He'll have more fun (and thus play better) in Boston.
