At this point, it is probably prudent to see who the best upcoming Russian players are that are likely to move to the NHL next season. Maybe the Flames grab the next Panarin. I know I will be paying a bit more attention to the draft eligible Russian players.

This is not an expiring asset. he is not a rental, and will be RFA after this year.

For a 5th? that's completely fine. We do need to ice a roster.

They did, but it was Sergei Priakin.

Haha, it was just where my mind went right away given recent Kipper celebrations and unknown players plucked from SJ.
