Travis Moen made a good little cameo on Corner Gas with the Stanley Cup.

And Inception! ...sort of

as well as many many other movies that have been filmed here haha.

But the Superman Calgary cameo is great. Just no attempt to hide it as the Calgary Tower takes up most of a shot as Superman flies away.

I'd call that an easter egg, not to get on your case further, lol.

I liked the ET in Star Wars EP1, and R2-D2 in the new Star Trek

As for Cameo's, just about any Stan Lee although I thought the latest Spider-Man was his best yet.

Starsky and Hutch was pretty good.

Fanboys had some great cameo's too.

Ving Rhames cameo at the end of MI4 has to be the best all time, reports are he got paid 7M for that one.

Thanks I forgot about that.

I tried to explain it to my 6 yr old as we were watching the movie. He just wanted to know if ET was a "warrior".

Wayne Gretzky makes the best Cameo in the Mighty Ducks 2.
His inspirational appearance in Team USA's dressing room was critical in helping them defeat the hated Iceland rival.
I wish that movie would have had a subplot of a rag tag house league team from NE Calgary being assembled to represent Team Canada.

I don't know if that was "great".

And not really a cameo since he wasn't even famous yet.

Wasn't his name 'Lucas' though? That was somewhat amusing.

Harrison Ford is also in Boardwalk Empire Season 3.

Nevermind... That's just Eli dressed as Indianapolis Jones.

Haha, I always love the end of this scene with the C-train and the Calgary Tower .
I just noticed something too, what's up with the people and the shopping cart at the end. Foreshadowing for the area?

Okay, the Superman scene.

First of all, slumming at the St. Louis. We can forgive Superman for that, we've all done it.

Secondly, what kind of drunken miser pours his own drinks at the bar with the one-ounce pourer still on the bottle?

Stubble on Superman? Realistically speaking, Superman should have the most glorious beard in the universe because no razor should be able to cut his beard. In all reality Superman should look like the world's most epic hobo as his hair and beard are un-trimable.
