I didnt hate it, but it seemed more of an Ode from Tarantino to Tarantino.
Self indulgent Hollywood tripe.
But it was okay.

I walked out of Jordan Peele's movie "Nope". Couldn't understand what the plot was and what I saw made no sense.

I wrote almost the exact review in another thread. Same movie, was also on a plane. The movie made me angry - the characters, the tropes, the plot holes, just so much ugh.
But like OP, I'm a completionist so watched the whole thing.
The one movie I watched in theaters that I wished I walked out on was Harlem Nights. It was during the time when Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall were extremely popular and they milked that popularity to make this terrible movie. I was never so disappointed in a movie I paid to watch.

Almost walked out of Avatar 2 but stayed only for the visual effects.

It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one that disliked Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
If you listen closely, you can actually hear Tarantino masturbating in the background for most of the film.

I should have walked out on Blair Witch. But it was probably overhyped for me by the time it reached the Dollar Theatre.

If you've spent a lot of time in Hollywood and/or studied the Manson killings it probably plays better for you.
Either or.
I loved it.

Wasn't great but good golly Margaret Qualley when she gets into his car the first time. She hits all the right buttons. Like Allessandro Ddaaddadrio in True Detective.

I'm Still Here. Just a disjointed, uninteresting satire. Did the hands-up-Jerry-walking-out-of-play.gif halfway through.

Tangentially related:
On my first date with a girl we went to The Illusionist. There’s like 6 people in the theatre. Spoiler - a main character shoots themselves. The person dies and hits the floor to just silence. Then some dude in the row behind us squeaked a fart. We both started dying laughing. Like uncontrollable laughter immediately following a very visceral suicide.
We dated for 4 years.

Took a girl to see a midnight showing of "The Break Up" back in 2007 or so. Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Aniston. It was awful. No second date.

So the movie title was prophetic.

I have a few weird movie stories with that same girl actually.
I took her to see Marley and Me 2 weeks after her dog died cuz I thought it would make her feel better (this was my first/only high school romance bear in mind). It did not. Having the first 10 minutes of Up shown beforehand didn’t help either.
Went to see The Departed and some dude plopped down two seats away from us when there was plenty of seating and was just a complete pig. You could hear him scarf his food and slurp his drink and snort and belch it was so effing gross. We decided to move and had to walk past him to get out he let me pass then leaned into her and said “leaving so soon?” Like he was the effing Penguin or something. Dude was like a different species. Also she was super mad that Leo got shot. Like actually angry.
We promised to see The Dark Knight together first. My buddy’s had a chance to see it before we could cuz she was gone. I went with my boys and then pretended I hadn’t seen it when seeing with her. She saw right through me and I came clean in the parking lot after. She was very mad about this too haha.
She was a good one.

The Exorcist was re-released theatrically in the early 2000s.
My wife and I went, and the rest of the audience was 17-19 year olds in groups of friends yapping and joking, evidently thinking it was just another cheesy teen horror movie. It was gratifying to see them become more and more subdued and appalled as the movie progressed.

My wife was saying the other day our kids should watch Titanic. I'm wondering if she forgot about that scene.
Can't recall ever walking out of a theatre, though I came close with Blair Witch. I've given up on rented or streamed movies but not quite the same thing.
