In Time - I just HATE this movie. The premise of having time as a currency seemed cool, but just stupid stupid execution. Seriously, when something as important as YOUR LIFE is used as currency, there should probably be some kind of security feature for it, rather than having it being exposed on your arm, and easily stolen by touching wrists. And that's just one of my many many gripes with that movie.
So stupid.

While discussing the Space hunters movie last night with my family, my daughter said she thought "the Purge" was the worst movies she's seen.
I've never had the inclination to see it so I can't say, but the premise and trailer make me think it was bad.

^^Ya man "No weezing the ju-uice!" is awesome!
Spider Man 3 left me aghast. When Tobey Maguire turned into 'bad-spiderman' and was strutting down the street winking and pointing at women I let out audible gasps and looked around at others to see the looks of horror on their faces. I somehow completed the movie.
Funny People was a movie where I became convinced two thirds in that it was never going to end and that is how my life was going to end, just eventually turning into a skeleton in a seat at a theatre with Funny People going on and on and on.

- Tremors 2 & 3, although 4 was actually not terrible.
- Super 8. No film has ever destroyed itself so thoroughly in the last ten minutes of the movie. The first time I saw this movie I was thinking the whole way through that it could be a masterpiece. "The Goonies" of this generation. And even up to the scene in the cave where the kid is going all emo on the monster about his anger and choices I was still on board. But then it was like Spielberg said "okay JJ, you can go home now and I'll finish the movie." And then they remade the ending of E.T. The effing spaceship even looked the same. Imo, it completely ruined what could of been something potentially timeless.
For the record, I watched The Goonies the other day, and it is STILL awesome. No way it would ever pass the MPAA as a kids movie today.

Ok
The Hidden
Kyle MacLaughin is a good alien who takes over bodies chasing a bad alien around Los Angeles who also takes over bodies. You know the villain is evil because he likes speed metal and drives cars really fast.
Tomcats
Shannon Elizabeth and Jerry O'Connell outright awful movie
Star Trek Nemesis
Even Tom Hardy was terrible in this movie that was more of an ego piece for Patrick Stewart and Brett Spiner
Star Trek Insurrection
First of all Riker flying the Enterprise with the emergency joystick. Second of all every character except for Pickard and Spiner had nothing to do and were given out of character things to do like Worf whining about getting a zit
Any of the Matrix movies after the first one
The brothers errr brother and sister let their ego's get in the way of a cool concept and ended up destroying their creation.

The only thing that made that movie watchable was that Michael Ironside knew that movie was going to be bad and completely hammed his way through it as Overdog

Hard to come up with a top 5, but here are 5 bad ones that come to mind:
After "The Ring" came out, there was a surge of Japanese horror movies trying to capitalize on the fad. I saw one called "Otogiriso (St. John's Wort)" which was just terrible. It had some unintended funny part because the dubbing was so bad.
I agree with everyone that put Anchorman 2 on their list. It just made me feel uncomfortable because the jokes are just trying too hard. I hate that those movies sparked so many memes and catch phrases.
Club Dread was another terrible one that I was somehow talked into spending money to see.
Dreamcatcher, like most Stephen King books turned into movies, was just awful.
Treasure Buddies. It will make you hate puppies.

Wow, there's a movie on right now
Sand Serpents - US soldiers encounter giant, man eating serpents while fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.
This must be worst movie week or something.
Didn't any of these people learn anything from Tremors?

Well that and Molly, she was probably what kept me riveted to my TV, and the upside down fat amoeba blob guys with super strength in the hanging pods.

John Lone, Joan Chen and especially Yoshio Harada were all way too good in The Hunted, to be in The Hunted. Could you imagine an actor of quality in the Chistopher Lambert role? We would be recommending The Hunted as a hidden gem.
I wish in the 80s and 90s it was more trendy for a real actor to take on an action role. What a weird time for that genre of cinema. All we had was the cast of the Expendables.
Knight Moves was a pretty big movie at the time that ruined Diane Lane's career for a while. We will let you have a bonus Chistopher Lambert movie on your list.

50 shades x 5.
Worse than Twilight and more back breaking than watching LOTR in the front row. I don't complain a lot about movies, but screw this movie.
The only other movies that annoyed me in recent memory was Take Shelter (didn't like pace) and God is not Dead. I would rather rewatch these two 5x and do a romantic movie marathon than sit through 50 shades again. 50 shades makes me seethe I'm so angry about wasting time on it.
EDIT: Dragon ball was my previous super rage movie. I'd rather watch that 5 times than 50 shades once.

Ok, just watched the final instalment of The Hobbit, sad. Nothing worse then sitting down to a story you have been familiar with for over three decades, only to see it mangled by Hollywood. I guess the only saving grace is there isn't another Tolkien instalment they can #### up. Seriously, buy the books if you actually want to experience the original story.
