It’s definitely a 4th, we just don’t know which 4th yet (VAN or NJD)

Nothing. We have no use for a post-apex UFA.

Would never happen, he pouted and sulked all year to force his way out. Let his career wither away in Columbus with his pal Johnny. Good riddance.

They never discussed with him, and dhaliwhal who had the petey stuff right the whole time, said they were working solely on petey, now they will see what hronek wants, before any of the other UFA or RFAs

Talk about some pretty ugly 'buyer's remorse.'

Caveat Emptor.

Yeah, we got his prime. Those years are over, and we have no use for Lindholm anymore.

I guess it's sad, but time passes by.

Remember Jiri, these aren’t people we’re talking about, they’re pointless objects that serve only for our entertainment.

Its a two-way street.

He was a great player for us for a long time. That doesn't mean he was worth anywhere near what he thought he was and it looks as though he quit on the Flames and isnt exactly lighting things up for the Canucks.

He is what a lot of people thought. A beneficiary of excellent linemates rather than a driver of play.

Quite honestly, it feels duplicitous. It feels like he wanted a big payday out of Calgary for 'past work' because he either had no intention or couldnt reproduce that form.

He is playing on the best team in the West...and he is being found wanting.

Right now? I'd be hesitant to re-up him at his current salary much less whatever he was asking for.

They all do when they're out of a contract and embarking on their age 30 season. It's fool's gold far more often than not.

Never brought it in the playoffs. Canucks were idiots to give such a haul for playoff non-performer. They should have read Calgarypuck first.

and this is only Lindholm the player. I'm sure he is pretty nice guy off the ice.

Hey...you can check my posts, I've been saying 'Trade Him' since August.

I'm still stunned at how much Conroy got for him.

But sorry not sorry, this seemed inevitable. You sign him for 8 years and you generally expect that at least the front-end of that contract you get value and then on the back-end the cap goes up enough that it isn't terribly ugly.

No thanks though. There is something haywire in that guy's head. He's better than this.

You must wonder why Tampa Bay and Las Vegas win.

Oh, I'm pretty familiar with your opinion; that wasn't intended as an argumentative statement. I agree with you. Lindholm probably was looking for a "reward contract", probably got one, and probably wanted even more.

I am no problem with Lindholm wanting a big pay day. That’s his right and he earned it.

The problem is he got worse everyday since Johnny and Tkachuk left.
There is no sign of recovery.

He needs to attend 'The School of Coleman.'

Treliving might have bitten. Thankfully Conroy seems like he has more sense.

Is anyone actively dumping on him? If they are well I’ve missed it. He’s a good, versatile centreman whose most productive seasons came at the behest of Gaudreau and Tkachuk.

A great player? Meh, he would be considered a great centre man for the flames but that bar is so low anorexic gymnasts couldn’t make it. He was good overall, not mind blowing or outstanding. He had a job and he did it and now he’s gone. See ya.
