I believe it is 1-12-1 when scoring three or fewer goals.

No, we don't. The Oilers ruin everything. Drafting high won't help them—it never has; it never will.

Edmonton is no good.

I do not have the ability to cheer for oiler wins. Every loss for them feels so sweet.

I was out of town for a few days and didn't get to watch hockey. Hopefully the Oilers didn't celebrate too much after they extended their win streak to 11 tonight.

That's now two 3 game losing streaks that bookend their "new coach bump" 8 game winning streak. That means despite their amazing turnaround winning streak, they're 8-6 in the last 14 games.

That means I get to post the gif I post every single ####ing year about the Oilers, come rain or shine...

It was always a tall order to get back into it.

The fact that fans and media made it out to be a cakewalk shows the complete ignorance that enshrouds that circus just because they have McDavid.

McDavid could score 200 points but that doesn't even guarantee the Oilers win at the .750 rate or whatever it would take from early November to get in.

Nah… wait for their prospect pool to finish World Juniors then bring a couple in for some fresh blood.

Oh… look at that… they’ve already competed their world junior experience.

I know you jest...but I'm not entirely sure that they wouldnt do it.

You've got Knobblocker who is a nobody...probably getting a minimum salary? They could Yo-Yo this all season.

Cool. Knobblocker is fired, now we hire this guy, then that guy, then the guy over there! How about this dude at the Airport? Sure, him!

There's vomit on his Oil sweater already, pregame spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks ressigned and ready.
To get bombed, but he keeps on forgettin
How to make saves, the whole crowd goes so loud
He opens his glove, but can't bat the puck out
He's chokin, how everybody's jokin now
The clocks run out, times up over, bloah!
Snap back to reality, oh there goes his save percentage
Oh, there goes Skinner, he choked
Hes so sad, but he wont give up that
Is he? no

I think with the Canucks ahead of the Oilers by 19 point that its unlikely that the Oilers can catch them.

The Coyotes are on a 90 point pace as the second wildcard team.

So for the Oilers to catch them in their final 53 games they'd basically need a 30-21-1 record and pass 5 teams. realistically their 3 game losing streak has done more damage then any benefit of their 8 game losing streak.

But if they don't draft high, it deprives them of the chance to ruin a highly-regarded prospect.

Won't somebody think of the children!

Skinner's lateral movement is being awful. It's like one of the old NHL games where all you had to do was pass to the side in front and goal.

Love how the Oilers have imploded since their win streak. Over the last 3 games they've looked exactly like the team that started the season at the bottom of the standings, and now they're back in 27th place and 7 points out. May they dwell in the basement for eternity.

Edmonton is no good.

Looking forward to them trading their 1st for help because they can't afford to lose the season.

With new york and new jersey upcoming you have to think that point could arrive shortly.

Will be funny to see the marginal improvement they overspend to bring in that ultimately won't make a lick of a difference to their fate.

The lynch mobbing down the stretch when they come up short in their second last year of the window should be something to behold.

Twitter should be a goldmine in the months to come.
