Awesome! Loved their first few releases and then they got stale. Really hoping for a spirited and energized release for this come back. Still doesn't beat At the Gates though

The Haunted has been a bit of a mess for awhile.
Sounds good, I like Ola! He does mega thick production for tones, and on the downside he does mega thick production for tones. Never really a point watching his amp playthru's

The new Carcass album leaked this week and is very good IMO, sounds like it's a good hybrid between Heartwork and Necrotism. First album in 17 years!

You can stream Avenged Sevenfold's new album, Hail to the King for free, no strings attached on iTunes. The album is due out August 27th.

Metal "purists" will hate it and Avenged fans still caught up in the 7th Trumpet/Waking the Fallen phase will detest it, but I think it's a solid album demonstrating further maturity.

As with any bands new material, it will take some getting used to, but I think it's a very strong album.

Really enjoying the new Avenged myself, it's a lot different but it isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Hail to the King loud shakes things lol, love it.

Also, cheers JonDuke, this metal tv is awesome.

Just got back from the Danzig concert. The highlight was when Doyle came out to join the band. That was awesome. Although Danzig can't sing like he used to, he still puts everything into his show.

Gotta say the new Avenged Sevenfold has really suprised me. I thought their last album was pretty boring, and I figured thats how it would be with the original drummer no longer around.

But this album has some great tracks on it, really impressed by it.
