I just find it unbelievable this guy is still in power. If that was Canada, there would have been a no-confidence vote and he would be gone like Paul Martin.
You're going to be stunned to learn this, but there's already multiple reports out there that WH staffers are worried Trump has no idea what is in DACA. Because if he did, that would be worthy of 24 straight hours of breaking news coverage because that would be shocking beyond belief.

Heard a good line by Chris Hayes tonight.
Trump is like a person who picked up a sledgehammer for the first time, and is trying to demolish a building by himself.

I'm constantly shocked that a political neophyte has no clue how to govern. If only there had been some sort of warning signs. Oh well, live and learn.

Oh come on, that the POTUS has no clue barely raises an eye brow now, if he asked on camera 'whats the big red button in the suitcase for?' we'd just shrug and laugh uncomfortably for a minute or two

Imagine if Trump had a majority in a parliament. He could pass anything!

The crazy thing here is that it is likely that both houses could pass DACA into law and that Trump would sign it for a big win on how his rescinding the executive order and working bipartisanship that Obama could never do.
Instead through some system of perverse incentives nothing will get done
It's like there's a big wheel in his oval office, and he just walks in every morning and spins it to make a decision on a topic.
None of the options the wheel may stop at are good, but sometimes he's not in the office because he's in Mar-a-lago or going golfing- sorry- I mean going to "meetings and calls".
So Betsy DeVos has made changes to Title XI requirements because it's unfair to boys who are accused of sexual assault. I'm too tired to go into this, but one of the bullet points among the changes:
Quote:
Every complaintant's sexual history, if relevant, may be introduced at the hearing.
So I guess if you'll sleep around with one guy, it means you can't possibly say no to another. Jesus Christ.
I'm just so tired of everything being terrible all the time.

"I think it's fair to say that I didn't realize how quickly the ground was shifting under all our feet," she writes. "I was running a traditional presidential campaign with carefully thought-out policies and painstakingly built coalitions, while Trump was running a reality TV show that expertly and relentlessly stoked Americans' anger and resentment."
IMO, she nails it here, and why I don't think there was anything she could have done or said to change the results.

Really? Every time someone says something like this I remind them to look at the margin of victory. There were many things that she could have done to move the needle that much.

Really, such as?
while you're at it, explain how other Republicans could have won the Republican nominee for POTUS.
edit - actually, forget it, I think we've already been through this, and I'm not going to read a 10 paragraph answer that doesn't answer the question.
Yep. Typical Trump. Just ignore the fact Obama made the order because the GOP controlled hill wouldn't address the issue which has wide bipartisan support because the only legislative policy they had was opposing the democrats and specifically Obama. It's still the only thing they have.
Yep it's all Obama's fault, not the fault of the same people you now tell to fix this. It's all about trying to get some sort of bipartisan legislative win to point to.
However, at this point I think the only people the buy his schtick and don't see how transparent he is are his base and they will never change.
