I have tunnel vision for a center with top six potential. It has to be someone like Petersson, Andersson, or Thomas. After that a top 4 d would be good. Build around centers and d men. Scoring wingers are nice to have but centers are where it's at.

Vegas will get into Dallas' spot (methot and one of later two first rounders) then trade with new jersey to take one of the top two, say Patrick. Flyers take Hischier, devils makar. My prediction that likely won't happen.

I do not want Vesalainen. I'd much rather get:
#18 Juuso Valimaki, Defence, Tri-City Americans, WHL
#19 Callan Foote, Defence, Kelowna Rockets, WHL
#20 Robert Thomas, Centre, London Knights, OHL

Anybody else saw an interview with the Oilers first round pick Yamamoto? I guess Oilers is trying to get their version of Johnny Hockey. They picked the smallest player in the draft 5'7" then he was telling a story on how his brother was using M&Ms in order for him to skate around.... hmmm sounds familiar, right? Johnny's dad using Skittles as bait for Johnny to skate around.

If all things are equal in terms of talent, I always rank Centers above everyone else. Then Defensemen, followed by wingers, and then goalies.
My two ideal candidates Petterson and Andersson both went high, frankly a bit higher than I was expecting (I figured they'd go 9-12). With all things considered, the Flames got themselves the very next best thing.

Skittles are disgusting though.
The kid already has a leg-up on Johnny.

Nah, skittles are what toughened Johnny up and made a man of him.

I really liked what the Rangers did in the first round with Andersson and Chytil. Can't believe they are being called the "losers" of day 1 on HF. That tune will change in a couple of years.

Has he ever mentioned Maxime Fortier to you.
Surprised this guy wasn't drafted.
Was over a PPG in his draft year and led the team in scoring, and improved it again now in his draft + 1 year.
Looks like Montreal has invited him to their development camp though.

Yes he has, was surprised he wasn't drafted this year. Unfortunately he has gone to the last two drafts and didn't get drafted, tough on the kid. Blames his agent a bit for that, was at Montreals camp last year as well. Hope Montreal signs him, He's a good kid.
