While it looks to be a solid top 3 this year I definitely want the Canadian center over the US or Russian winger. Getting additional 1sts for Lindholm and Hanifin should help rebuild the D pipeline as it appears a lot of good D are coming next draft.

Flames tank update:

Now 6th last in points %.

I don’t think there’s any realistic way to out-tank CHI/SJ/ANA/CBJ, they’re all awful hockey teams. Seattle is somehow behind the Flames, I haven’t been following them enough to know why.

So, we’re likely looking at 5th pre-lotto, without even making an effort to stink. This team ain’t good.

Celebrini has separated himself as the #1OA favorite so far, and the WJC will be an interesting showcase for him.

Team deserves a lotto win. They've been through a lot in the last couple years, and team stink up the highway has been spoiled beyond belief.

Hopefully they're finally given a break.

The Flames are only 7 points out of last place. They've played 2 more games than Minnesota, 6 more games than Ottawa, and 2 more than the ducks. If they trade some guys, they could fr9m bad to 8n the running for 1Aoa.

This is the Flames’ toughest stretch of the season. I fully expect them to start picking up points when the schedule weakens in garbage time to keep them out of the bottom 5. It’s the Flames’ way.

Don't believe the hype, they'll be picking 13th or something. They will win lots of meaningless games after they are eliminated. Wish it wasn't the case but they will always stay in the mushy middle.
