Three more days!
It is going to be painful waiting that much longer.
I've got a good feeling about this game, we'll be coming in with a healthy D core, A couple new looks up front, and a Goalie ready to earn a big contract.
I hope Tkachuk, Ferland, Bouma, Bennet, and Brouwer, set the tone and put the Oilers 'new' defence and 'heavier' offence to the test. I want the Oilers to have something to be pissed about coming back to Calgary.

So with Johnny being locked up, what's the consensus on who's playing the RW with Johnny and Mony? No one has really stepped up and taken the spot but does Vey or Chaisson get the first game?

Well, some questions have been answered.
Gaudreau has signed in time for the first puck drop.
Tkachuk will be on the roster to start the season. No official word if he draws into game one, but presumably he does on the line with Brouwer and Bennett.
The Puppet has been up to many fascinating things. I enjoy seeing his journey.

Meh, no harm trying certain combinations out. I would probably put Ferland on that line to start but would have no issues with the Flames trying Chiasson or Vey on that line to see if it clicks. Hopefully when Priybl is healthy and had some time in the AHL he will get a chance.
