This is the time of year when the good teams find an extra gear. The question is, will we.

[QUOTE=Inferno;6092211]Just saw this on Facebook. So both teams are wearing their retros?

???

Calgary will be obviously and Edmonton went back to retros full time, years ago.

I would think its time to send Bouma down, and call up Bollig. Betcha 10 bucks he would be a wrecking train.

Nope, Flames are very fragile atm, cannot play a full game.

Bouma has been playing fine the last few weeks. What is a wrecking train? Is that good?

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

You're lacking in imagination. Maybe it won't be different, but the Flames are certainly capable of playing much better than they did.

I don't know if this is really a mathematically must win game but my passion for this year's iteration of the flames will be in deep question should they get swept in the season series with the oilers...

Go Flames Go!

Bollig is done. He's not even good in the AHL.

Wrong. He has 8 goals and 14 points in 27 games with the Heat this year, along with a tidy +4.

For a supposed enforcer those are pretty good numbers.

Poirier has 17 points in 34 games for reference.
