I wonder if Ward will have members of the Flames coaching staff helping out with the training camp this year.
I mean, I know that it's Ward's team and all, and that ice is going to get pretty full with nearly ten coaches on the ice, but I'm wondering if he'll let Hartley's crew help out or even stick around during camp.
Either way, it's great of Ward to invite them down to the Lower Mainland to get to know each other and get on the same page organizationally.

My thoughts on the lines:
Sven Baertschi - Ben Walter/Max Reinhart - Krys Kolanos
Michael Ferland - Ben Walter/Max Reinhart - Greg Nemisz
Dustin Sylvester - Paul Byron - Akim Aliu
Ryan Howse - Ben Street - David Eddy
T.J. Brodie - Brady Lamb
Chris Breen - Joe Piskula
Brett Carson - James Martin
Danny Taylor

you are missing several names in there, including Roman Horak, Quintin Laing, Carter Bancks, Gaelan Patterson, Bryan Cameron, Adam Estcolet, Joe Callahan, Nick Tuzzolino & Zack McKelvie. Although Cameron & Patterson are unlikely to be AHLers
Brett Carson is on a 1way contract and was not sent down as a result, but he may be allowed to play since he finished last season with the Heat, but since he was not on their playoff roster I doubt he will be back with the club.

They are, but if you take into account that the cheapest half season tickets are $250 and the cheapest full season tickets are $425.50, it's not too bad.

Horak I forgot about. He's in an odd position.
I guess I'd move Sylvester down and put Horak on the 3rd line.

Does all access mean access to all AHL teams, or just the Heat?

Didn't Horak go to play in Europe?

That'd probably be better than playing 3rd line minutes in Abbotsford.

All access is every AHL game. Just for the Heat is $150.

I think a poster on CP posted that, but there was no evidence of that. He said it was on Twitter, but I looked everywhere and couldn't see anything.

If I knew the lockout was going to last the entire season, I'd give them the money right now.
Right now, I have to think about it.

Good choice. That's part of the reason I'm only getting half season tickets.
I'd like to see the Flames back in action by Christmas time too.

That All Access price is ridiculous. It's double the price of NHL Centre Ice.

CanucksArmy have an article up called "What to Watch During the Lockout: Abbotsford Heat"
It's more of an article to encourage Canucks fans to go watch hockey, so to put it on here is sort of preaching to the choir, but oh well.
Also, Hockey_Ninja got his video on this article haha.

The break-even point on the AHL Live team pass is 21 games.

Seems a bit pricey for AHL games, I will probably pick up a 5 game pack to watch at least a few though.. needs my crack one way or another.

So why is it the Heat are not playing in any exhibition games? Seems like several teams have 3-4 games from October 1st to 8th, but the Heat have none.

The Heat are far, far away from the nearest AHL team. It just isn't economical to have any exhibition games.
