Wanted a Mexican side but Orlando is probably one of the easier matchups Cavalry could get. Weather swings gonna be wild.

That's a great draw for Cavalry.

Orlando is good, but that’s a decent draw for Cavalry. They’ll be big favourites but not unbeatable

Hope we get dates asap, especially for the home leg

Email from Cavs says venue is TBA. What would be the options if not ATCO?

I'm going to put my money on Shouldice Field as there is turf grass with seats ready to go. That's definitely an option, MacMahon being the other?

Man, Mcmahon would be a huge bummer. Having 2-3k fans in a 37000 seat football stadium would look so bush league and have almost no atmosphere.

2023 it looks like games started early March. So Atco, both for the pitch itself and maybe conflict with show jumping (though it's not that early) probably keeping the option of a turf field.

Colorado played TFC in February 2018 on a grass pitch when it was -15 with a windchlil of -25 in this tournament. Unless Spruce Meadows forgets how to maintain grass I think it will be at Spruce Meadows.

Lol!

I once played a Provincial final at McMahon.

You want to know what its like playing a Men's League Provincial Final in a stadium for 37,000 that has...other than the players, about 50 people in it?

Its grim. Its really grim.

If we are getting a group going for Orlando, I might be keen to join up to watch the away leg

USports draft was today. Cavalry selected defender Caden Rogozinski from MRU and midfielder Rodane Cato from Alberta

There is 0 way they play on Shouldice. The turf is in terrible shape and I doubt CONCACAF would approve of it.

Email from the club says season ticket holders get first crack. Tickets go on sale in the new year.
