There is a very reasonable explanation as to why there are so many Oilers fans in Calgary. Even they much prefer living in Calgary vs Edmonton.

Not sure if you've noticed but it's very hard to be the worst team. There's a lot of competition for that (dis)honour. The Oilers were exceptionally good at it. Also at lottery balls landing in the right places. Not much else beyond that, though.

I think Huby has one or two PPG seasons in him yet.

The talent's been abysmal, as well as guys phoning it in like last year.

Inject some young top talent on his line and things could turn around at least until age gets to him.

The only game I care about the Flames winning for the rest of the season is the one in Vancouver. It's a super rare a game on my Birthday. The last game I went to we flew from Vic to Calgary in 2014 . The flames won 3-2 . Decided to brave going to rogers place this time even tho it has a rep of the touches flames starting ####.

To start the whole sequence on the Kadri goal, Kuzmenko gave Sharky this really assertive stick tap like “####in give it to me, I know what to do.”

Sharangovich trusted his teammate and stayed patient - it would have been very easy to force something the other way but he kept playing catch, and was rewarded with the assist.

Honestly, you love to see it.

Even with Kuz helping the PP his numbers are improving

So Kuz said ‘hey, we will do the exact same play as the first goal we scored?”

(Only this time Kadri will tip it)

Kuzmenko does that constantly. Tied for 145th in goals in the NHL but he always needs the puck because other people don't know he's there or something. Can't wait until he's gone.
