I think we'd have to assume a push from the pack and the break number moving from 91 points to say 93, but if it's 91 I see it as .613 and a record something like 18-11-2 (.613).
A lot more interesting than it was before the Chicago game.
But honestly the Bruins were sleep walking and Markstrom likely got them the win with that third period.

One thing I thought was interesting was one model had the line as 89 points...which is crazy low to me but the teams in that range in the west aren't that strong.
I would assume that there will probably be a bit more 3pt games as well, pushing the overall line closer to 94-96pts to get in. The final 12 games - starting with the scary (for this team) Blackhawks - are against Western Conference opponents, and then the very last 10 games of the season are strictly against Pacific Division opponents. Teams that are trying to make it are really going to be tightening up.
I do think that the Flames could get in, but they probably can't get in by selling further. Remove Tanev, then your best defensive defencemen is gone, who is also a top-PK defencemen. That may be enough to slow the Flames down to be on the outside looking in. This team doesn't really have depth left - not really anyway. It is admirable how they haven't given up and just started coasting, but removing a couple more pieces on the back-end, what Conroy probably has to do - should be enough to topple them down.
It certainly is interesting how this team still very much believes. It is nice to see.
It's crazy to think how removing the team's arguably best forward has actually made them look like a much better team.
They have a shot. If Marky keeps playing like this, and the youngsters (Zary, Pospisil, Pelts) keep stepping up, they can make it in. But it's asking a lot.
Conny has a very complicated situation on his hands between now and the deadline...

He hadn't been the Flames best forward for a while, regardless of what Sutter thought.

Could any Flame forward fetch the same return in a trade as what Conny got for Lindy?
Zary
Lindholm's value was 100% based on history and reputation though, guy hasn't been very good in a while. I mean if it isn't obvious now I don't know what to tell you.
Does Kuzmenko speak Swedish? Seen him talking to Marky and Kylington in what seems like a different language, but not Russian. Or maybe they both speak Russian?

McCurdy has 8th place projected at 89 points, with 5 teams within a point of that final wildcard.
With the way they’re playing right now that’s not an out of reach record. That would obviously change though once/if Hanifin and Tanev find themselves on the move.
