Suarez wasn't given anything by Webb all match, although he was on the receiving end of numerous fouls. He was probably unbelievably frustrated. Could have got something for that I agree.

that's what I am 50/50 on, I have seen it probly 15 times now and I am still not sure

I think the safe call there is to not give it though, or maybe just a fk outside the box

I am surprised Webb even got this match though, he surely had to be hung over after celebrating the title win last night

which he played a huge part in

Pretty disappointed in that match, mostly from the ridiculous diving from Maxi/Kuyt, those were embarassing.

By the way, in the future if anyone wants to watch a match in Banff I highly recommend the Pump and Tap Tavern.

Good to know about the pub. I might actually be in Banff next weekend myself.

Look it up in advance, it can be kind of hard to find.

Good video (with a Pink song) summing up this season for LFC. Sure has been eventful.

Thanks, thats actually a really good video, despite the Pink song.

I must say, as both a Liverpool and a Flames fan, this season has been one hell of a ride.

Yep! Both started rough, and ended the polar opposite. I definitely am looking forward to Liverpool's season more-so than the Flames for a variety of reasons, but the offseason is so much more uncertain for the Flames right now too. Liverpool's targets are already widely talked about. Sure we may not get who we're after, but the owners are determined, and smart too. So far, it's been great, and I see no indication that it will get much worse (I use the word "much" because Suarez was just an absolute gem, and you don't get one of those more than once every 5 years if you're lucky) I think the Flames will improve too, just not as rapidly. I like the way Feaster works, and runs a more "commitee" approach, over the Darryl "I do what I want" philosophy.

No Europa league. Okay, now they have to concentrate on the League and a Champion's League spot.

Rumors about various transfers are flying all over the place (as usual). I can't wait for the summer window!

As much as I trust Kenny, I just hope they dont buy anyone stupid.

For God's sake, I've heard Lee Cattermole's name thrown around.

Looks like the Jordan Henderson transfer is all but official.

Fee is still unknown, but rumours have it being £13m + N'Gog (giving the total value of ~£20m from the article below)

Sounds like Phil Jones is close too.

We got a player and we shucked the dead weight that is N'Gog. Win win.

It is sounding like Charlie Adam is almost a Red. SSN says a fee has been agreed and its just the personal terms left to discuss. I have mixed feeling about this.

There are plenty of rumors saying that Miereles is going to be the odd man out of this midfield. With his age and medical concerns(I didn't know he had any), we may be looking to cash in while he is still of some value. In KK we trust.

While I think that Adam will be a good fit in Liverpool, I'm surprised at the doubts around Meireles, I didnt realize he had health issues, but they're very different players.

Meireles is more an attacking midfielder while Adam is more a playmaker.

I've read similar analyses and I watched Blackpool a fair bit this season. Charlie Adam is a one of a kind player, but thats not necessarily to say hes the best or anything like that, just that his style of play is very much his own.

He has weaknesses, his fitness and flair for the dramatic are usually the ones pointed at.

But his strengths are impressive, hes not the flighty, speedy midfielder, hes bigger and stronger and he tends to control the midfield more. The thing is that last season he was a one man show, surround him with players that Liverpool have in the squad and theres good potential there.

I like the thought of him delivering corners and having Carroll thunder them into the net.

What kind of health issues does Meireles has?
