Much like you don't win friends with salad, you don't win in the NFL trying to field a roster of choir boys. Immorality wins far more often than "doing the right thing". Until Rice is actually in jail he'll have work. And even if the Chiefs did cut him at least 75% of the league would be trying to sign him.

Definitely an overpay, but the term is short enough that it won't cripple them.

He has played at an MVP level the last 2 years. Kind of like the next Kirk Cousins.

At $53 million a season he's now the 2nd highest paid QB. Pretty crazy how much of a bargain the Mahomes contract has become for the Chiefs.

Netflix will air two games on Christmas Day this season and at least one game on the holiday each of the next two years, the streaming network announced Wednesday.

"There are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We're so excited that the NFL's Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix," Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria said in a statement.

There's been talk that the NFL will opt out early of their current TV deals in 2030 to try to extract more money. With all these streaming companies now getting into these deals, there's even more #### ton of money to be made. NFL juggernaut can't be stopped.

At a time when women's sports are growing like they never have, and when the Chiefs fan base is probably attracting more women than any fanbase because of you know who, here's this idiot kicker getting liquored up and telling women to stay in the kitchen. They won't move on from him because he's an elite kicker, but they gotta be pretty annoyed at him.

imagine thinking it's a good idea to tell gratuates in 2024 that women belong in the kitchen, and he's even choking up while doing so. Just absolutely wild.

Even if you want to completely ignore the religious angle here, a multi-millionaire lecturing women on why they should stay home while so many households struggle to stay above water financially is so exceptionally tone deaf. Easy for Mrs. Butker to stay home all day and do homemaker ####, not so much for a lot of families.

Also forgetting that he made her covert to marry him. What a bunch of crazy people. Just complete garbage.

If he’s cut I bet the jets snag him quick.

Also apparently he had an affair with a dude in college.

Chargers opponent videos are unmatched in pro sports.

A lot of subtle references and then not so many.
