I was really really hoping for Austin...I wanted to hear that glass shatter so bad.
But I think the reason it wasn't Austin is he's too big. Cena and Undertaker are a fun moment but don't overshadow Cody
Austin comes out and it's more about Austin vs Rock and overshadows Cody vs Roman.
As I fan I wanted it...but I get why they didn't do it

Takers pop was the loudest pop I think I ever heard. And there was some mega pops tonight. Like, I'd say 3 of the all time top ten happened tonight and they all happened in one match.

So who moves to Smackdown... Cody or Priest? Draft is coming up, what does WWE consider the "A Show" in 2024? I would think Cody moves to Friday. Drew, Priest, Punk all remain on Raw. Seth will probably be given time off, maybe Becky as well in the near future.

As a fan of that era it was awesome to see those wrestlers.
But part of me actually wishes it wasn't Undertaker for that match, but all the guys Roman screwed with the Bloodline.
Jey, Sami, KO, Seth, LA Knight, and Cena were all guys that Reigns beat with bloodline support who are still over as faces.
Give me those guys helping out with Cena being the big return to confront the Rock and think the story might have worked better.
Reigns and Taker did fight but that was before the bloodline
I will say Roman choosing to hit Seth with the chair to tie the shield story full circle instead of Cody was genius booking.
It's what I think creates a wedge in the Bloodline between Roman and The Rock tomorrow.

Hitting seth from behind was incredible story telling

So rock kicks roman out of the bloodline tomorrow and hes gone till summerslam? Maybe later?
Drew/punk should be very fun
Rock vs cody is set up down the line, same with rock/cena in some way
Rock vs roman next wrestlemania, doesnt need a belt

The Rock is supposed to be filming a movie from May 1st until August. That may set up something for SummerSlam but from what I've read that might not even work out.

So bloodline rules = no DQ?
Loved the match but they could have had a twist in their given the hype for these rules.

I tuned in to watch The Rock. The guy is the probably the best bad guy in history.
The ending was fun, but it still doesn't come close to WM17.

Loving these new camera angles they've been using recently. Definitely feels like a new era... Is the WWE becoming hot again... Kinda seems that way. Vince (finally) leaving feels like such a breath of fresh air. From all reports everyone within the company is more excited than ever before.

It just looks like too much fun.
The MacIntyre vs Punk build has been great.

I’ll be honest, that was a fun Raw, but was expecting some more surprises and drama, this being the Raw right after Wrestlemania.

No real Bloodline drama was surprising.
But Rock vs Cody is the story now
Was insanely loud in there for that first hour though, then I think we were all just tired.
I didn't go to NXT or Smackdown and it was still a lot of Wrestling

Great Raw. Loved the finish. The long term stories being built these days are fantastic! There's basically a long-term build to ever single feud. Some last month's, others years. It makes everything seem less, and you can transition Becky for Liv... Or Gunther for Gable.
They're no longer booking week to week or forgetting about the past. It feels less like a soap opera, and more like a serial. Apparently they want to start calling it "professional wrestling' again, not merely "sports entertainment".
Not everything is going to be perfect, and there's going to be filler in a three hour show, but the WWE is in better shape right now than it's been in a long time.

Alexa and Uncle Howdy could be interesting

I watched raw to see what all the hype was about. Pretty good stuff, I can see why it's popular. that rock and Cody promo went on too long for my liking. I liked the zayn/Imperium match, and I thought the camera angles were neat. Interesting main event, it was botchy, but still fun. Cena needs to cut his hair haha
Pat McAfee is terrible on the announcers booth. Guy talks like he has chewing tobacco in his mouth, and has non-sensical hyper emotions with no cadence. No thanks.

Im guessing that opening segment was supposed to go closer to 30 minutes and not 45, and that Dragunov and Shinsuke were supposed to have more time
Crowd kind of hijacked that segment though.
